The two rooms we stayed in were very, very basic, but the rooms were passable simple rooms. The bed was very unclean. The most terrifying thing was that the dirty mattress was directly covered with thin sheets without any separation in between. Even though I had stayed in many cheap youth hostels in India and Southeast Asia many times when I was young, this The hotel beds are particularly scary. The white sheets seemed to be 20 years old and dark in color, and the pillowcases and towels were also dark. It felt like the beds, pillowcases, pillowcases and towels in this hotel were discarded by a ten-year-old store and then used for another ten years. When I booked the room, I believed the photos and didn't read the reviews. I regretted it after checking in. Since so many people criticized the fur as being too old, this hotel was indifferent. Is it unaffordable to buy a batch of new towels and sheets? All prices in Istanbul hotels are exaggerated. This may be the reason. The relatively low price of this hotel (90 euros) is very attractive, but the basic facilities must be guaranteed, right? Other comments left pictures saying that there are a lot of mold spots in the bathroom, which is true. The cleaners should spray it with 84 every day. But it may be aimed at customers who want to save some money or live in urban areas. It feels like the hotel just wants to last a year or two while waiting for renovations and renovations, so it is currently a day-to-day business. The front desk service is actually nothing, the people are very friendly and the response is quick. It's okay not to clean the room, you should be able to ask for it when you really need it. The room still has windows and sunlight. On the whole, the sanitation and facilities are similar to those of a large car shop, with a basically qualified front desk and unqualified cleanliness. If you have no other choice, please do not book this hotel. But if this is your only choice, I think you should stay here happily and don't let the reviews hurt your travel mood. As a tourist city, Istanbul has friendly people and unique scenery. Enjoy those things more and go back to your room less often.

The hotel is awful. After 18 years of pretty adventurous traveling, it has been the worst experience of a hotel. The small angry man at the front desk does not speak English and refuses to look at Google translate. We booked a quadruple room. Instead we had a double room with two extra mattresses thrown in. The beds were dirty and had a sheet on top of them. The room was dirty. The air con didn’t work (even by day 4). This meant a real lack of sleep in the hot summer. There was no fridge as advertised; we needed one for medication. Breakfast is in a dark basement. No hot water for coffee days 2-4. Bad looking tomatoes, cucumber and dry bread… it started late. Making beds / fresh towels etc is only for every 3rd day. Yapping dogs woke us up at 7am each morning. The only person who spoke English said the photos on the websites are not correct because “that’s advertising.” Please don’t stay.

The location is great, it is near Bazzar, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern. The people that work in the hotel are very nice, helped with everything.. Selim especially helped with a few requests we had like additional towels, cleaning service, ordering a taxi, instructions on how to get to some places in the city.

We booked for a whole week to stay at the Reina Hotel. The first room we were placed in was filthy, there were hairs all over the bathroom and black filthy residue of something. I made pictures of everything, you van see them down below. We asked for a cleaner room to be placed in, after a while we got a new room witch was still dirty, we eventually just put up with it. There were stains over de bedsheets and the floors and walls were dirty. Nit to forget, we found a few bugs in our bedsheets. After a few days we noticed that our room wasn’t being cleaned. We had to ask and get our own toilet paper en ask for new ‘fresh’ (not at all) towels. We went to the lobby and asked friendly when the cleaning lady would come, they promised us multiple times but these were all lies. Our room was not cleaned for the whole week, and the people working there were not interested in keeping there customers happy at all. They didn’t care, and wouldn’t make a compromise for us since we stayed in a dirty room all week. We do not recommend this hotel for the price your paying!!

Everything was fine. It was even quite clean, which surprised me. The air conditioning is good. The shower room is clean, without mold, unlike the photo. Lots of hangers in the closet. Of the minuses - the small light above the bed did not work, the refrigerator was not particularly cold. And the toilet is right in the shower. Well, we didn’t bother with the location of the pipes.

Old and noisy room. Bathroom with questionable hygiene, stained and holed bath towels. Poor reception. Breakfast more than minimalist. Be careful, 3 separate establishments so there is a risk of not being close to your children. Dirty room and seen on a courtyard filled with construction equipment. Disgusting window sill. View the photo . In short, do not choose this hotel.

The island website lists this barn as 4 stars. This is a scam, comrades. There are no stars here at all. There is mold, dirt and rot in the bathroom and room. I disdained having breakfast. The rooms are shabby, linen and towels are very worn out. Complete trash. Located in an area where you can't dream of silence. There are mopeds, cars and the chatter of locals under the windows, there is also constant movement on the floor outside the door to the room, you can hear everything, both the elevator and people
