Perfect location, close to the main attractions & trams, right next to a hookah bar. Quite economical so it was not the most luxurious place but no complaints regardless.

Booked via Booking, none of the conditions written on the booking site were not met. Very dirty, smell was unbearable. Staff members were very rude. Stains on the mattress, toilette five stars dirty. We left hotel same day we checked in, but they did not want to refund our money, aka they stole it. Double price for the parking (on booking site 5€, on check in 10€).. They did not renovate rooms or hotel, it is a lie. Hotel menu in restaurant was very poor, and food was tasteless. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone if you want to have pleasant vacation.

For the price, an excellent hotel with a super location, next to the sea!! And the embankment, a street with restaurants, shops, the Grand Bazaar are within walking distance, there is a tram stop nearby, from where you can get to all the attractions!

I don’t even know where to start... 1) the feeling of dirt everywhere - at the entrance, at the reception, in the room 2) the shower does not work properly. The water does not drain - it spreads all over the tiny bathroom 3) furniture, baseboards, refrigerator - everything is somehow shabby, old, sloppy 4) tomorrow - somehow they dumped everything on the table into large basins 5) view when leaving the building - I will not return to the ruins - literally - a demolished building, garbage, dust.

Rested in February. The hotel is clean, the room is comfortable, the bathroom and shower are clean and renovated. The staff is polite. TV and internet worked great. The location is convenient, close to cafes and shops and all types of transport. The central part of Istanbul in 15 min. walk.Lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the bay. The breakfasts are hearty and fresh. I recommend this hotel.

Terrible hotel! Breakfasts are small (no sewing table, they give one plate with 3 tomato slices, 5 cucumber slices, 2 pieces of sausage (as in the photo), coffee is served in a dirty can! The rooms are old, there was a hole in the shower cabin (as in the photo). there are dirty dishes in the hallway. I do not recommend to come here. The area itself is like a ghetto, a lot of sellers who always sell you something. It's good that we were recommended to go to more decent areas, otherwise we would be very disappointed in all of Istanbul. Conclusion: not look at the beautiful photos, most likely they were taken 20 years ago (((

We rested for 21 days. We were in hotels for 3 days. I must say that the photos correspond to reality, modest and clean rooms. The room is not cleaned every day, I'm guessing once a week. The room did not have soap, shower accessories, so I advise you to bring your own. I can rate the location of the hotel 5 out of 5. If you came to visit the markets, then welcome to the Grand Lisa. Everything is within walking distance, close to shops / cafes and access to the Marmara embankment. Breakfasts in hotels are monotonous and modest, but the view is beautiful. The staff is very polite, we needed help in printing documents, they helped without any additional fees 😊
