The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is only Turkish food, but there are toast and sausages, so you can eat full. There is also a supermarket nearby, so if you buy souvenirs there, you can buy them cheaply.

The hotel location is very good. It's close to the tram, so it's easy to ride the tram, and the incline to the station is not too steep, so it's easy to get around. It is close to nearby tourist attractions and restaurants. And the front desk staff are very friendly. The only downside is the nature of the old town, so there is a lot of noise from surrounding cars during the day.

We stayed at the Peyk Hotel for 3 nights. The location is ideal and walkable distance to all the major sites. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. However, I would be wary of the “A Night on the Bosporus” cruise which the reception staff highly recommend to all their guests. We were led to believe that this was the best night cruise with food and entertainment all included. We had two kids aged 5 and 9 with us. The brochure detailed a set menu and various performances (Turkish dance show). However, the cruise they boarded us on was anything but that. It had a dj party/night club type of an atmosphere with the crowd made up entirely of locals who seemed to be enjoying the club like atmosphere. We were hard pressed to find anyone who spoke English. This was not the family friendly night on the Bhosporus that we were led to believe. We were packed on the ship like sardines, sitting arm to arm next to strangers. There was a small performance stage which was barely visible from where we were seated. There were only 2 performances out of everything mentioned on the brochure. All in all, the entire 3 hrs on the boat was a nightmare for us.

In order to see another part of the city, I decided to leave the Peyk hotel. Little did I know, taxis refuse to go what they consider “a short distance.” I could’ve walked to the new hotel, except there was the problem of the cobblestone streets, several hills and my luggage. One of the kindest employees, insisted he could walk there and carry my luggage. For this thoughtful gesture alone, the hotel deserves five stars. My room was lovely and spacious, with French doors and a little balcony. I could even see the Golden Horn. The hotel is very near a tram stop — the easiest way to navigate Istanbul. There are many web sites, describing different ways to pay for the tram. It depends on: how many days you are staying, how many trips do you want, and how to get the Istanbul tram pass that you pre-load for rides. I am sure that is the cheapest option. But you can just tap your credit card at the station and hop on the tram for about .75 cents US per ride. Works for the ferries too!

Location & staff are brilliant at this small cozy hotel perfectly placed for exploring all of Istanbul’s tourist attractions as main attractions are all within easy walking distance . My only niggling fault was the traffic noise was a little loud at night sometimes but don’t let that put you off. Would recommend this hotel

The reception crew are not friendly and there is one crew very hard sell the cruise tour, even we said we just arrived here (evening time already) and will consider later after dinner cuz we are tired and hungry, but he very rude said give us 30 mins for consideration and is like if we don’t buy the tour from him, he will be unhappy. After we buy the tour, he just treat us like nothing. Very rude. Then my sis suddenly sick cannot join the cruise tour, we asked if can cancel one pax and get refund. He called and asked, said cannot refund as they have prepared our food (for 6 pax). But when we reach there and ask for one more food (cuz we paid for 6) but the cruise staff said cannot cuz one pax already canceled. Apparently the food is not prepared yet when we asked for cancellation.

Nice hotel with phenomenal staff and great location. You can walk to all of the major sites with ease. It is close to the metro, which I would recommend using to get around town. The cabbies can definitely tell who the tourist are. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Good breakfast and cozy rooms. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Great, central location in Sultanahmet, walking distance to many tourist attractions, plenty of restaurants around, clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. If required, tours and taxi’s can be arranged at the reception.

We loved the Peyk Hotel! The location is excellent, walking distance to all the historical sites and shopping. The rooms are clean and comfortable and provides an excellent breakfast spread. Husnu COK, Front Desk Manager was amazing. Always friendly and helpful! He set up a private tour guide who took us to all the historical sites and shopping in the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market! He also recommended great local restaurants which he personally guided us to. He went above and beyond!

The Peyk Hotel is well located--just 2 blocks to the tram, 6 blocks to major sites like the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, and the Hippodrome. Our room was small but comfortable, had one chair, and the bed was comfortable. Water pressure was strong, and the water was hot each morning. There was a small closet and a combination safe. The carpet was a little worn, and the room was slightly stuffy at night. The staff was very helpful, especially Ramazon, who was the best front desk person we're ever encountered; he gave us good recommendations on what to see, excellent directions on how to navigate, made dinner reservations for us, and in general enhanced our stay with his delightful service.

Lovely experience at the hotel. Very neat and close to all attractions.Perfect for families and wonder breakfast and service. Good attention to detail woth daily cleaning services. A New bell boy stated and was very nice young man that always tried to help.

I really liked the room, it was very clean and modern with quirky touches of wimsy. The bed was so comfortable. Nice hot shower, spacious enough bathroom. A safe in the room and complimentary kettle, water, nescafe and tea. Also refrigerator. Great location, we walked everywhere. They set up airport transport for us, I think it was $40. Each way? Also will set up some tours if you like. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. Great stay.

Istanbul Vacation 5 nights 3rd Jan-7th Jan 2023. My wife & I with our friend traveled from Seattle to Istanbul. The hotel was in a excellent location near many restaurants, shops and tourist locations within walking distance. You don’t need a cab to explore this area. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. They were also cleaned daily. We had a balcony room as well as I our friend traveling with us. She was in the room next door. The staff was great very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here. Some of the other reviews some people complained about the outside noise. Sure it can be noisy a little at times but your in a major city it didn’t bother us. I would definitely stay here again in the future:).

The hotel is in a great location, a short walk from old city center and tram stop. The service is very nice and helpful. The breakfasts are wonderful, delicious and fresh, lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The rooms are comfortable. I can only see one downside to the hotel; the service changes towels and cleans every day but does not wash the sink. It was dirty when we got the room and wasn't washed afterwards. Maybe it's a coincidence.
