Let me start by making one thing clear. I really enjoyed the interior of the hotel, the location it was situated in, the food and the restaurant staff. That was one of the highlights of my visit there at the hotel that I enjoyed the most. The restaurant staff have a high degree of taking care of their customers and regularly check in with you to see how you’re doing. What blew me away about their hospitality was how much effort and care they put in to throw me a surprise birthday to make it feel memorable and how they took care of my mother who turned ill. They even made special made food so she could eat while she recovered without any extra charges. This is exemplary service, and one in which makes you feel invited to come back. Shoutouts to the restaurant staff: Seda Gocge, Erhan, Filiz, Ali, Hanife and Ihsan Eres (apologies if I spelt your names wrong my mistake) – you lot have truly made us feel welcomed. However, this aside, it’s regretful to say that not all people are like this. Our first night at the hotel started on a rough start as there was a complication with the room. We clearly asked for 1 room with 2 separate beds and this request wasn’t made, even though we have numerous photographic evidence to support this, but the staff and the manager at the reception refused to acknowledge their mistake and refused to correct this on the night that we were there. We were forced to stay in the room and share a bed which was disgusting to say the least! I was clearly unhappy with this arrangement, and we told them several times that we didn’t want this due to how inappropriate it maybe. Nothing was done to resolve this until the following day. This shouldn’t have happened, and it shouldn’t have ruined the start of my holiday. To summarise, I would only go again if a hiccup like this were never to occur or if the restaurant staffs themselves such Erhan and Seda were in charge.
