THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED! NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL! I've had a nightmare with this hotel. What was supposed to be a relaxing and meaningful vacation in Istanbul for my Parents (Both of them are above 60 years old), the y had their worst vacation instead staying at this hotel, here are the reasons why. 1) Upon arrival at 2pm, we were told to wait in the lobby for up to 40 minutes. The Hotel refuse to allow us to check in because of payment issue from Agent. It was not our fault. We have paid in full via Trip.com. 2) After around 10-minutes of argument (I have video recorded), they allow us to check-in but only for 1-ROOM. Because I insisted that we need a room to freshen-up after long flight trip. We have to wait for almost 1-hour to get the second room ready. They keep telling us 5-more minutes but in reality it was a total 40-minutes. I have photo & video to proof that. 3) Room condition is in VERY POOR condition. Floor was sticky, Lots of fixtures are broken down. Soaps, Shampoo & other amenities was not refilled nor replaced. 1-room did not have ironing board. We kept asking for someone to send it to the room but no one ever came to deliver. Furthermore, the room is VERY-VERY tiny. No room for us to unpack our luggage. 4) Hotel location especially our rooms is at the worst location. We were placed in the 1st floor. In reality, the room is in fact on the same floor of Ground Floor! Our room is situated opposite of a restaurant. Noises from the restaurant was unbearable. We could not get enough proper sleep at all in all 3-nights!! (I have photo proof) This hotel is not a 5-STAR hotel. At best this is a 3-STAR hotel. Trip.com should revise the rating of this hotel to 3-start. I am really disappointed with hotel. I demand compensation for this poor treatment & service. Our vacation was ruined. Trip.com should refund our money back for misleading us to book for this hotel thinking it was a good hotel with good services.

It was just okay. There was miscommitment between hotel and trip.com

Good location of the hotel, 10 mins walk each to Galata tower and Taksim square with loads of restaurants and retail shops nearby. The rooms were very cramped with not a lot of amenities nor views.
