It feels good, but the newly renovated hotel smells a bit loud

The staff were exceptionally accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was flawless. The ambiance of Sanasaryan Han truly embodies luxury and elegance, making it an unforgettable destination. Sena was highly attentive and made our stay stress free. I highly recommend this exquisite hotel to anyone seeking an enchanting and culturally enriching experience in Istanbul.

So first of all, if you want to experience Istanbul, the hotel is in its heart. Newly opened, everything is brand new and charming. It has this modern style where you feel between the art and science communities in the Ottoman era. The staff is amiable, I've been here for 3 days and I haven't heard not one "I'm sorry, we can't..." The food is excellent, the rooms are decorated tastefully.

I am glad that this property finally opened in time for my trip. It is the first Luxury Collection hotel in Istanbul, and it is indeed luxurious. I had read about the interesting ( and at times notorious ) history of the building, and the staff were eager to share that history with the guests. Speaking of the staff, I am sorry that I didn't get the names of them, but everyone from check in , to breakfast staff were simply wonderful.

The hotel is a very nice hotel in an AMAZING location right near the center of Old Town. As soon as you walk outside you are immediately in a central area of shops, restaurants, and more. The Hotel is located on a slightly quieter street just mere feet away from the bustling streets of old town. The check in process was smooth and they brought us water and tea while we checked in. Right next door is a cute baklava cafe serving food and coffee and of course, delicious baklava. Just down the street we ate at Sabre Usta Donor Kebab and the Donor Durum we had there was incredibly good. We actually went back for another later on! We travelled with our 5 month old child and the staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating. The Concierge, Yigit, went above and beyond on multiple occasions to make our stay more enjoyable and make it extra special for our little one (he presented our baby boy with a football outfit of the local Turkish team and also helped me mail a postcard bringing out an official Turkish seal to add). It was very appreciated. Shout out also to Isil for helping us with whatever we needed and be ever so kind to our 5 month old. The rooms are very nice and large for European standards. Bathroom was very nice and plenty of bottled water was provided. The actual hotel is on the smaller side, but it is beautiful and very well maintained. Cabs/Uber do have a difficult time accessing the street the hotel is on, but it is only a short walk down the street to an area where you can grab one. It is also only a short walk to the Blue Mosque as well as the Bosphorus where you can take a ferry to other parts of Istanbul. All in all, we had a great stay and if you want to be in a nice hotel with welcoming staff in a perfect location in old town, this is for you.

This is a new luxury boutique Hotel in The center of everything in the old City within close proximity to the main tourist attractions. I stayed here for a week and what could be called its soft opening time because the hotel had only been open for approximately six weeks. . What I loved the most about this, Hotel was the friendliness of the staff and their desire to make your stay as great as it possibly could be. The front office manager, Isil became a Friend the first day I met her, such a wonderful lady. Enes the waiter in the restaurant is one of the best waiters I have come across in my many years in the hospitality industry.. Enes was everywhere doing every job, he remembered everything about what I liked, even that I liked mustard with my food and how much sweetener I liked in my tea each morning. You don’t get much better service than that. The Hotel does have a few teething problems, but these are generally the hard product not the soft product and given time this will be one of the must stay places in Istanbul . There are so many unique features in this hotel that make it a truly luxury hotel. Try the afternoon tea service, the cakes are divine.

Wow, I have no other words to say. This place is incredible! My wife and I chose to take a more unconventional honeymoon to Istanbul and after staying here I know we made the right choice. I’d like to specially call two staff members who made our stay even more special, Yigit Sengelen and Isil pinar. This hotel, is just down the street from the Spice market, several mosques, and only 20 minutes from the Hagia Sophia. The hotel itself is beautiful, ornate and the rooms are spacious comfortable and newly updated. If that isn’t enough allow me to give you a walkthrough of our stay. We planned to stay in Istanbul for 6 nights. Upon our arrival Isil personally greeted us, asked us how our trip was and gave us a walkthrough of the hotel along with her colleague. Who by the way was incredibly helpful! Walking us to our room and ensuring we had everything we needed. She also encouraged us to take the “Discovery Tour” which I highly recommend by the way, and this is when we met the hotel Concierge Yigit. He walked us around the hotel and showed us some of the local highlights. Then he asked us about our planned excursions, tours etc. We told him we booked a few things but he just said if you need any help let us know. A day or so later we took him up on it. We had mentioned that we booked a Bosporus river cruise, but he offered an alternate for the same price but was on a private yacht. It looked much nicer and we were not disappointed. Won’t go into too many details but it was beautiful, the boat was great and it really was in a yacht which was a new experience for me. After another day we mentioned we wanted to go to another region of Turkey and within an hour Yigit had given us 3 options for scheduled tours including, flights and transportation Truly incredible, can’t say enough good things!

I had the great pleasure of staying for two nights at the Sanasaryan Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is in an historic building just minutes from the Galata Bridge, the New Mosque, and the ferry terminal. It is also an easy walk to many of the other famous sites in Old Istanbul. The hotel has been newly renovated from its prior existence as both a school and administrative offices and the outcome is one of entering a world of calm and beautifully appointed interiors. The rooms and bathrooms are large and also well appointed. In my room there was a sitting area with table and chairs, a large chest containing coffee, tea, and snacks. The beds are large and very comfortable. There is an excellent restaurant and a separate bar/library within the hotel. I cannot say enough about the staff. Both Isil Pinar, the front office manager, and Yagiz Dogan, guest service representative, went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience at the hotel as well as in my exploration of the city. The hotel is a new member to Marriott’s Luxury Collection Hotel. Marriott should be very proud of this new member to the family.

This time it was short 1-night stay in finally just opened hotel in the heart of Istanbul. Staff is excellent, specially concierge. Room had amendeties like baklava and probably best tea selection i ever had. Breakfast is very luxurious and food quality and freshness is top. Its hard to find better location, if you like Spice Bazaar (my favorite) and also close to many tourist attractions. Area tour i'll take next time i come in July, then i have more time. Well done!
