Large rooms, great mountain views, fairly good transport accessibility, great khash for breakfast, excellent children's area and walking area in the forest, panoramic views from the restaurant, nice spa area but not enough staff there

We stayed at the hotel for one night in a superior room, which was spacious and comfortable. The reception and dining room staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner and were particularly grateful for the attention paid to my wife's food allergy. Breakfast was also very good. Overall, we had a very positive and enjoyable experience at the Basgal Resort and Spa.

The service was terrible, I do not recommend it at all. In the restaurant, the service was very bad; they brought our order very late and were not attentive. At the hotel, they held a game for the bank employees for entertainment purposes. Because of their arrival, the service and quality got worse. All the staff were only serving them, even though we paid 900 manat to stay there. Despite asking for an extra blanket from housekeeping, they brought it without sheets. A wonderful hotel with attentive staff, maintaining a high level of the hotel. We stayed in a cottage, everything was great. If you dine in the restaurant on the territory, order lamb ribs in cherry sauce, you will not regret it. I recommend visiting the historical village of Basgal not far from the hotel (5 minutes by car).

Excellent hotel. There is something to compare with. We stayed in Baku at the Four Seasons, and this hotel is practically at the same level, at a very affordable price. Thanks to the staff for their responsiveness and care. Everything is new, clean, very nice. The pool with a terrace is just great! In the evening, the restaurant has above-average prices, I would like more local cuisine, but apparently they want to satisfy everyone's needs-)
