Excellent stay with Mike, who is a wonderful host, helpful and good advice. The room is nicely decorated and the bedding VERY comfortable. Small tray available with a good choice of tea, herbal tea, chocolate and coffee. Breakfast buffet. Do not hesitate!

Rooms are beautifully designed, with bathrobes and slippers!!! Rooms are very clean. Great breakfast and the owner, Mike, couldn’t be more welcoming. Also very helpful when it comes to sightseeing needs or hiking trips. I really recommend this guesthouse - the best of our road trip through Scotland!!!

Nothing to really fault, comfortable room, spotlessly clean, great shower in the bathroom, parking on-site, welcoming host Mike, happy to help and advise, very good wi-fi. Only criticism, and I do not blame Mike, the agent we booked through stated breakfast included, I feel it should have said buffet breakfast included, as all our other stays that stated breakfast included, served full English breakfasts, a minor point that no way detracted from this very homely guest house.

Mike, the host and owner, couldn't be more welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed, the bed is the most comfortable I've been in years. the breakfast is great. the view around is spectacular. the only regret we had was not having time to stay another night.

Since most things were booked, I was a bit skeptical of Taigh Pa, as it was all that was left. Some poor reviews gave me anxiety. Our group of six was warmly welcomed by Mike. We played golf in the front yard. We had a wonderful breakfast made to order. The location was perfect. They emailed us options for evening meals as there are few places in those parts. Just could not haven nicer. The room and ensuite were great!

Nothing was too much trouble - Mike and Lorraine accommodatedf our awkward arrival and departure times caused by ultra early departure for St Kilda and late return. Clean and comfortable room, tremendous location and view, excellent breakfast and wonderful hosts. We've vowed to return.

It's worth the extra drive to stay here. Mike was a great host and willing to listen and give feedback to help decide where to go. Beautiful scenery. Cant beat the price. We had the Bluebell room that didnt have an ensuite bathroom but the bathroom just outside the bedroom door was very large and Im certain much larger than anything ensuite. Comfortable sleep. 2 excellent restaurants (Galley and Uig Hotel) a few minutes away. Reservations highly recommended. Dont assume you can walk in for dinner at least in the summer. Breakfast pretty basic. Pre-made pastries, cheese, meats. Need to choose a time ahead. No place to sit inside which can be an issue. We tried to have a glass of wine in the lovely sitting areas outside but either had too many little bugs or rain. 20 minute drive to Portree, 5 to Uig.

A lovely comfortable B&B with friendly hosts Mike & Lorraine who made us feel very welcome. Spotlessly clean room and ensuite , and breakfast cooked to perfection. Perfectly positioned for the ferry terminal in Uig, and a lovely wee restaurant “The Galley” only a few minutes away if you don’t want to venture too far for an evening meal

Mit der herzlichen Begrüßung durch Mike begannen drei wundervolle Tage in diesem B&B. Von der Namensgebung des Hauses bis hin zur schottischen Geschichte berichtete Mike. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Betten waren die besten ,welche wir auf unserer Schottlandreise hatten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend und Mike bereicherte es mit lustigen Gesprächen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden hier immer wieder übernachten. Danke an Mike und seiner Ehefrau für die schöne Zeit . Gruß Jessi &Jacky
