Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel

Beautiful, comfortable hotel! The location is wonderful, the food is amazing and our bedrooms were spacious. My only complaint is that while we were there for a conference my son got sick and had to spend two days in his hotel room. I tried to order him room service and no one would pick up the phone. I then went down to the front desk and tried to ask if I could pay for a plate from the buffet to bring it up to him and they told me no. I think if I spoke Spanish it would have gone better. I had to walk down to the store to get him food. Thankful it is just a 10 min walk!

loved everything about this hotel, for English people its very Spanish which is what we loved, very helpful, enough staff to cater for all, one slight hic up was , we went for a dance break, ( Ballroom dancing) unfortunately the floor was not up to standard, hopefully the hotel can pull out their stops and get this right, would not take away any points for this, it was just unfortunate, we would go again, if the floor could be sorted, and bring our dancing friends with us,

Excellent hotel. Buffet meals provide wide selection of food for all tastes. High standard of hotel cleaning and presentation. Staff very friendly,helpful and professional. Our stay in the hotel was most enjoyable. The only drawback to the visit was that the town had very little else and no train or bus service to other towns.

Everything was excellent. Great variety of food at breakfast and dinner, room was spotless, pool and gardens very quiet (not overcrowded, very courteous staff, beach is superb (about 10 km in both directions), location is quiet, especially in low season, no noisy bars nearby.

Just back from a week at the Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel. The room and the facilities were excellent. There was a great selection of food but I found I had to use the microwave as the main course tended to be on the cool side. Very near the beach which you can access via a gate in the swimming pool area. There was music a couple of nights in the bar but the resort was quiet and not too many places open at night but it is early in the season.

This was amazing as a first time visit at the beginning of May 2024, but we needed air con in our room. Reception promised on 2 occasions to ‘inform the company’ but it didn’t happen for us! Great attentive staff and lovely food with wide choice. Choose this time of year for overall peace, luxury and swim forever in your own company. We will come back, and soon we hope!

The hotel is generally first class - the rooms are spacious and well equipped and the pools and grounds are amazing. The food is very good. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our only issues were the lack of air conditioning in our room - despite raising it more than one with reception - (it merely blew warm air into our already stuffy room) and the numerous mosquitoes, which feasted on us during the first night or two until we treated with insecticides. We were obliged to leave the windows open every night, which only further encouraged the mosquitoes.
