Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres - All Inclusive - Adults Only

My husband and I just visited Impression Isla Mujeres for our honeymoon, and we had the absolute best time! I would recommend before booking flights to look at pick up and drop off times for the catamaran because it runs on 2 hour intervals. We made the mistake of getting there 30-45 minutes after one had left so we had to wait an hour and a half for the next one to arrive to pick us up. The staff provides food and beverages while you wait so it’s not a big deal but definitely added to our travel time and put as at the resort later than I was initially expecting. I will also say if you get motion sickness easily to sit at the top by the captain or in the back inside, especially if the waters are a little rough. Once we got to the resort, we were immediately met by our butler Martin who gave us a tour and showed us to our room. Martin and our other butler Erick were both phenomenal and tended quickly to any need or question we had. We had an ocean view room, and it was just as picture perfect as I imagined. In fact, everything about this property is absolutely picture perfect. Some of the activities we participated in while there included snorkeling, kayaking, pasta class, massage at the spa, and we rented a golf cart to explore the island one day. Our favorite experiences were the pasta class, spa, and exploring the island via golf cart. All the food and beverages we had were great! We tried every location except for Sake. Our favorite spots were Spezia, Mercado, La Vista, and Cacao. Our favorite spot for drinks was at the beach with our favorite servers Moses and David! Being served drinks and food at the beach was so nice, and the service we received was amazing! Moses knew us by name on day 2 and had our preferred drinks ready without us even asking! On day 2, we were also approached by VIP services to offer us a VIP breakfast experience to learn about Hyatt’s vacation club. We agreed to listen to the sales presentation on the morning of day 4 of our stay. Although we did not end up joining the vacation club, I do not at all regret sitting through the presentation. We had breakfast with Jennifer, who was lovely! In exchange for our time, we were offered leisure cash to spend at the resort in a few different ways. My husband and I decided to use ours for a free massage at the spa, which was so great! We seriously cannot say enough good things about this resort and the incredible staff. We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to go back!

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon. The place was beautiful and the service was awesome! We were able to try all of the restaurants and were very impressed with the food and the wait staff. The rooms were very nice and were cleaned and tidied up several times a day. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of taking a trip here!

This was the nicest resort I have ever stayed at. The butler service was absolutely top notch. My wife and I had an incredible time. The private hot tub in the room overlooking the resort and the ocean is just perfect. The room was clean and comfortable , and again the service was outstanding. For only $1500 a night, every single drink and meal and snack are included. It's the deal of a lifetime. Really incredible experience, we can't wait to go back! Erick and Martin were amazing and really made our stay that much more special.

Beautiful new resort with stunning views and amazing eateries! Sadly our expectations in service levels were not met, specifically poolside. We had to leave the pool and get our own drinks on a regular basis, despite servers being present: they simply didn’t care to serve us. Our butlers, Omar & Mose, were very attentive and handled all our requests, but standard service was simply not what we expected for the price of this posh venue. We fear the location makes it harder to keep staff.

From the moment you get to the marina until you return, this experience is incredible. The views, facilities, service, food, drinks, weather are all exceptional. Biggest downside is overindulgence!! Make sure you book the Ocean Front (not ocean view) rooms, as the difference is size, layout and view is significant but the cost difference is marginal.

Our waiters Francisco (Spezia), José & Roger (La vista), and Ángel our butler went absolutely out of their way to make us feel special. Thank you for making our experience unforgettable. We will see you next year for sure!!!

Pros: Lunch and Dinner was absolutely amazing, best we have had at an all inclusive (even tried the raw sushi and didn’t get sick)Shoutout to Israel at SAKE and Heidi at the coffee shop both were amazing! Hotel was stunning, every corner of this place was beautiful! Daytime activities were super fun! We enjoined the snorkeling tour, island E biking tour, kayaking around the island and the pasta making class. ABE and Paul were phenomenal during activities and the only reason we gave them 3 stars! Those two are the best! Cons: They definitely do not provide great service. You supposedly get 2 butlers during your stay and one we never even met and second one would basically just say no to all our requests. My husband tried to do something special for my birthday and they said unfortunately they don’t have anything (no candle/no flowers not even a rose) He tried to order a big plate of fruit to at LEAST get that and noted not to add yogurt or honey and it came looking so sloppy and covered in yogurt and honey. The pool service and beach service was terrible. Ordered food and was told it would take 30 min which is fine but after waiting 2 hours and asking about our food multiple times we ended up leaving to find some food realizing it wasn’t coming. It came after we got back from lunch which was about 3 hours in total. The beachside service kept asking for tips when he couldn’t even bring us the correct order of drinks we ordered. It wasn’t a big problem for us we aren’t super picky but this was definitely the worst service we have ever received at a resort and we have stayed at others like Excellence and Majestic. For the steep price you pay you would expect some type of service and I would say in total you get none of that here. Our room would never get restocked until we asked several times for at least more water to be brought to our room No nighttime shows like at the other resorts, closest thing they had one night was a fire show out of the week we stayed there. Even though most of the food was amazing, breakfast was a huge let down. The menu was very limited and there was no breakfast buffet to fall back on so most of the time we opted to skip breakfast

Impressions was the most incredible hotel I have ever been to! The staff, the food, and the accommodations were all luxurious and beautiful. It was the most immaculate and special place ever!
