Was very disappointed that no room service was available. After dining closed for the night no food options were available until breakfast. Location makes it for a long ride to places off site. And staff was slow or just didn’t do simple requests for new towels, which didn’t get solved until last day at resort.

The food was pretty terrible and a lot of things at this property just don’t make sense. From towel keys to getting up charged at every corner having to take stairs all the time as the elevators are far. All drinks taste supper water downed..

Reception Staff was rude and unprofessional in this certain matter. I had shown them a screenshot of the VIP spa credit I was to receive and they all told me, oh that’s not a credit, that’s just a coupon. Sent me to speak with 3 different people to ultimately come back and speak with the same person. They told me to call ******* and figure it out instead of showing professionalism and reaching out themselves, making me the middle man. The lack of communication between hotel and ******* is not acceptable. The entire situation ruined my stay and I will not be looking to stay at Riu in the future.

Staff was rude. They charged us for every single little thing & it was noisy, and the drinks were all watered down. I do not recommend this place at all. And the beach is a very long way/walk out.

We loved staying at the RIU Latino. This is the second RIU property we’ve stayed at and we loved both. They are newer and always super clean. We enjoy a more modern/updated and clean property.
The staff are all working hard and courteous.
There are lots of options for my husband that has celiacs and cannot have gluten. Everything is labeled so he can easily see what food he can have.
We will stay at more RIU in the future!
