Nomads Hotel, Hostel & Beachclub

So beautiful, clean and has a very nice pool. I really had a great time! Amazing staff and incredible location.

If you want tò relax Absolutely do not come here!!!!! Music super super loud until 1.05 am.. Not idéal when ou have a morning Flight, this loud event was never mentioned in the booking site. At 1.05 the music stopped at 1.12 the music starter again with the hostel staff using the Whistle tò make noise. I have been in Many hostel, but This Is really not respectfull of guest, i Will strongly reccomend avoiding booking this hostel. Reading the reviews this Is a récurrent concern..and every time the owners replies WE are working on It...and still we couldn' t sleep at all.

LOUD MUSIC EVERY NIGHT, sometimes until 1:00-2:00 am!!! Impossible to get any rest or sleep. Guests are not told until check in. Cancelling reservation is out of the question, would lose your money. Shower and sink water is salty. Water pressure sometimes too low to flush toilet. Water turned off one evening with no notice. No phone in room. You have to leave room and go to the lobby with any concerns. Railing on the staircase going up to room was loose. Around 3:00 am, part of metal frame around outside balcony door fell off crashing down. Also, ocean view from balcony is not visible due to overgrown trees. Pics on website are deceiving. There is construction right next door. If looking for a quiet place to relax, this is not the place! WILL NOT stay at Nomads again! RATING: 000

It is much of a hostel…private rooms (the “hotel” part of the hostel) are largely overpriced but nicely decorated. Quite a noisy place. Service is average. Food and cocktails are ok but a little expensive. I would recommend the beach club but not the hotel.

Such an amazing place to stay! Stayed in a dorm and felt like luxury. The rooms were huge so much space/storage and super clean. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Great vibe at night and beautiful to watch the sunset down by the beach. Would absolutely stay again. Super affordable and well worth the money

Very chic and clean place! Was in the dorm and felt very safe. The food at the hostel is kinda expensive, so I recommend buying at the grocery. Also, the place is filled with older peeps, so not-so easy to make friends but still super nice and people are nice and friendly.

Linda was amazing and the food is amazing as well!! Nice to have a good restaurant right outside the room. I had a cigarette all the first night and I was not disappointed. Also tried the pasta salmon and it couldn’t stop licking the place. I highly recommend this place over anywhere else in the island especially if you’re staying here at the nomad hotel resort.

Really good food the steak sandwich was lovely and drinks. The views are great of the beach and lovely palm trees! Would defiantly recommend to stay or visit here when in isla mujeres!! Ask for Linda she is the best ❤️

We arrived on an evening when the weather was awful (due to hurricane Agatha) and the weather was supposed to stay that way our whole stay (5 nights!) Fortunately it was just bad for one day and then absolutely perfect! When we arrived we were actually shown 3 different rooms and allowed to choose - since the one we had booked on *********** was right by the party area, they were super considerate of how noisy it might be for us and we ended up essentially getting a free upgrade to a huge lovely room. It is a party hostel - they don’t hide this and we were aware but we appreciated being in a room where the music wasn’t disturbing :) However the doors/windows didn’t really lock and there was no safe- but we felt quite safe and secure anyway! There is a Kitchen and place to fill up your bottle with drinking water. The whole place is honestly beautiful - the decorations etc it’s just lovely to be around. There’s also an adorable friendly dog, cats and even ducks. The beach area isn’t huge but big enough, people go and sunbathe on the pier over the ocean anyway. We booked a snorkelling trip via Nomads and had the best time - our tour guide was someone called Miguel. We would 100% recommend (it was the underwater museum one but he also took us to a reef). They put on lots of free activities e.g. guacamole making, cocktail making, ceviche (all free). And the parties at night are great fun. Some of the staff members are fantastic. We loved Jose the bartender! We also hired a golf buggy via Nomads to explore the island. We didn’t shop around so can’t say it it would be better value elsewhere but it was just easy to get it directly from them. The best place to head is downtown (where the ferry port is) as there’s sooo many bars and restaurants. We went round the entire island on our buggy. It was so fun and felt very safe. You can also order food directly to the nomads bar - they have a mini food market and it is pretty decent. We also would thoroughly recommend the restaurant across the road for breakfast/brunch/lunch. We went practically every day. Isla Mujeres can get quite swarmed with tourists but we did feel quite separated from all of that at Nomad’s, which was great. We would definitely come back, thank you to all the staff for a fantastic stay!
