The resort is very clean, and the staff are super friendly! They are constantly walking around the beach and pools offering you drinks which is very nice. One issue is that it is very hard to break down bills here, which I never had issues with at other all inclusive resorts. When you ask front desk reception or even the exchange office in the lobby, they say they don’t have smaller bills. It wasn’t until the last day that one of the bartenders was able to break our larger bills. This is something avoidable if you bring lots of change for tips so I figured I would mention that!
The rooms were very spacious, and the resort staff come twice a day to tidy up. However, the food offered for room service is terrible. There are very limited selections of basic sandwiches served cold. They usually arrive within 40 mins of you ordering which is okay.
The a la carte restaurants are okay. The wait times are minimum 1 hour if you show up anytime after 6:30pm, and almost always extends to 1.5 hrs. We tried several times and this was always the case. The steakhouse was by far the worst with over 2 hour wait time for the worst food I’ve tasted my entire stay. The Roma and Zarape are good. The Japanese restaurant had over a 2 hour wait by 7pm. Many people decided to just go to the buffet at night which always has availability and many different options! The buffet food was always good, even better than the a la carte restaurants.
Overall, I would stay here again, the beach is perfect!
