Our stay was absolutely wonderful!!! The service was extraordinary, attentive and incredibly friendly. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean beach, which was just steps away from the hotel. We saw many marine iguanas, birds and other sea creatures. Our dinners were delicious and the breakfast buffet had a good variety. After a busy day touring, relaxing around the beautiful pool with a tasty drink was a lovely way to end the day.

It’s a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was really really good and you can tell that they take pride in what they offer their customers on all levels. The pool has a great view of the beach and you can sit there and watch the iguanas going back and forth. If you go to the top floor where the hot tub is, you can get a great view up and down the beach. The rooms were big enough that our family didn’t feel crammed in there, even with all our luggage.

We enjoyed this place so much! We had three rooms: a junior suite for my husband and me, one room for one of my adult sons and his partner, and another room for another of my adult sons. The place was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and well kept. There's a little pond behind it, with a walkway around it, that sometimes has flamingos. It's right across from the beach. There are iguanas that sun themselves on the pool terrace. Breakfast was delicious. Pedro ran the front desk and was our go-to person when we needed something at the hotel. The bar was fine and had a great picture window looking out to the ocean. The pool was sparkling clean and very refreshing after a long day of activity. Location was three minutes away from one beach bar, and less than a ten minute walk to the heart of town. We were here for five nights and loved every minute of it. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely return.

The Iguana Crossing is an excellent hotel across from the ocean on Isabella Island in the Galapagos. We had an ocean view room with a balcony over looking the ocean and pool. The food was very good and the service was great. Pricing for drinks was a little high especially for Jameson so may be good to ask for prices of drinks before ordering. They also have laundry service which was really nice after a long trip

The hotel photographs well and has a nice outdoor seating area around a pool facing the ocean. However, get ocean front rooms. We were booked a "volcanoe " view room, which really just faces the back yard looked into dining room and hall. The manager was helpful and sympathetic and changed us for two nights to ocean front room, which was better. The breakfast buffet was basic at best. I think this is a fine place to stay if you got ocean front rooms, but given it is quite a bit more expensive than other hotels on island, I would look elsewhere.

Amazing beach front hotel with stunning views of the ocean!! The food was incredible (must get their Galapacho & ceviches, they are to die for). Highly recommend booking all travel logistics for getting to the island directly through the hotel, as they will make your life 10x easier!! This is by far the best place to stay on the island. 10/10 p.s. ask about the tour to “Los Túneles” it is amazing! All of the pictures are from my last trip.

Isabela is so relaxed and so is this hotel. Very nice location at the end of a dirt road which is the Main Street that runs along the beach. Ocean and sunset views. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was luxury by Isabela standards, but the shower is restricted by a pump button that gives about 10 seconds of water per pump and no paper allowed in the toilet. Water is not clean to drink so purified water is provided and is plentiful. Housekeeping was twice a day and very thorough. Place was very clean. Staff was extremely attentive. Restaurant was very good but they request that we placed our order in advance with our preferred time to eat. We ordered at 4:30 for a 6:30 dinner. The meals were high quality and delicious. Drinks were available but limited selection. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate. A few fruit selections a couple of cereals, bacon or sausage, and bread for toast. Eggs were made to order. We had excellent communication with the hotel staff in advance of our trip to arrange our activities which were all outstanding. We were picked up in the lobby and dropped back at the hotel after each activity. Airport transfers were also arrange through the hotel which were inexpensive and helpful since we arrived by plane early in the morning. Our room was ready when we arrived. This is the very nicest of any of the hotels and we were very happy with our choice.

We stayed at Iguana Crossing Boutique Hotel for 5 days as the second half of our Galapagos expedition. Situated at the end of the town’s main sandy street it has a feeling of seclusion overlooking the beach and the beautiful coastline extended further away. It’s about 30 metres from the hotel door to the beach - almost literally in your doorstep, with the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep at night. We stayed in the Master Suite on the first floor and it was massive with a double shower cubicle and two wash basins in the bathroom. A short corridor leads to the bedroom where there’s a big double bed and two day beds plus a large balcony with more chairs that overlooks the beach and coastline - absolutely stunning. The shower is on a timer (press a button for ~10 seconds supply) and it took a few goes to work it out but then it was fine - we soon mastered the art of holding the button with one hand and washing with the other although I think you’re supposed to ‘wet, pause to lather, soak’ ! The mirrors in the bathroom are in intriguing places and one of you needs to pop out of bed to turn the main lights off at night - but this soon became a fun habit. The room is lovely with two powerful air conditioning units if you want to cool off. The door to the balcony needed a special touch to shut but we soon got the hang of that too - and also positioned one of the many towels provided to catch the condensation that ran off the door windows at night. The Master Suite really felt very special and if you want space - it’s like your own apartment - then it’s worth the extra cost. The staff in the hotel were superb - helping wherever they could without being overbearing or smarmy. The breakfast is fairly simple and unchanging but we enjoyed it and particularly that the chef cooked us sautéed vegetables with fried plantain for breakfast as we’re vegan and didn’t want the usual eggs. There’s no kettle in the bedroom but there is coffee and hot water for tea on hand at no charge. Dinner at the hotel was very good with the chef cooking us a special Asian style rice with a chilli kick, proceeded by a delicious beetroot hummus and tortilla chips. Very tasty. Variety of food options for vegans isn’t that big but there are a range of restaurants in town which only 5 minutes walk away or there’s Coco’s beach shack right next to the hotel that does tasty empanadas, fried rice and vegetarian platters. We didn’t use the swimming pool but others did and the area around it with day beds looked good. There’s a jacuzzi up on the roof but we didn’t get to that either - we spent most days out on a trip of which there are many available. Snorkelling at Cape Rosa Tunnels was a highlight. On Santa Cruz we stayed at Finch Bay and felt luxuriously pampered in a hotel where you felt any slight ware and tare would be instantly fixed. Iguana Crossing feels more like an isolated island hotel where things happen (eg an occasional power cut or water leak after heavy rain) but that a
