Drake Inn

The location of this place was awesome as it was right across from the beach. They have sand toys and boogie boards to use during your stay. We are a family of 4 and comfortably stayed in one of their family rooms (room 5). The outdoor shower really came in handy to get the sand out after the beach. They were not able to accommodate late checkout but had a nice secure place for us to store our luggage while we waited for the afternoon ferry. The air conditioning was a MUST. They also provide jugs of water in the family suites which saved us a bunch of trips to the store. The only tricky part about the room for us was that the top bunk didn’t have a rail (our kids are 4 and 6 and neither could safely sleep in the top bunk.

We booked a suite which was fantastic and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay but definitely need to note some negatives about our stay. The owners were not there when we stayed. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful but the gentleman that was there was not engaging at all. Breakfast in our opinion was poor and no gluten free options so we went out for breakfast! In our opinion it is such a shame not to use one of the lovely terraces for breakfast with a view. We think if the breakfast was improved this could really be 5 *

A little gem of a spot directly across from the beach. Staff was warm and welcoming - helpful with recommendations and answering questions. Check in and out was a breeze.

Great spot We loved our time at the Drake Inn. We spent four nights with our four and six-year-old. The location was perfect. 50 feet from the beach. The staff was really helpful. They provided sand toys and boogie boards for our kids to play with, helped us arrange travel, and even stored our bags for us and let us borrow their outdoor shower after our stay was completed. We'd definitely stay there again.

this is a great hotel. its almost the last one on the road so is really quiet and a nice flat walk into the town. we had booked a standard room (8) which is ideal for people with normal sized luggage. unfortunately we had overthought this holiday and had the worlds largest suitcases. there simply wasn't enough room. we upgraded to room 3 which was huge. it also gives you a front decking with a hot tub and another decking behind/above that one. the staff are really helpful, breakfast is eggs.toast and fruits etc. by far the best place to eat is Anibal's. this is half a mile away just before the road curves to the ferry. turn left and its about a hundred yards up there. we were recommended here by the hotel manager but came across it by chance. its always busy while the other places seemed struggling. watch out for the Aji, it's really hot. My only criticism is that in the standard rooms there is too much furniture. there is plenty of seating outside and i the dining room etc. you don't need chairs and tables in the rooms. but that's just a personal thing

Right by the BEACH Great location! The beach is right there! Staff was helpful and the owners were very nice. Breakfast was great and included fried eggs if you desired.
