The room is simple and narrow compared to other business hotels. The noise is terrible day and night because the parking lot was in front of you. The sound and vibration of the person walking through the passage are also very large. I think that soundproofing measures are probably not good. The carpet on the floor is very dirty and very dirty. The bed is very thin, and when you sit, the mattress shrinks and the butt reaches the plate. Even if you sleep, you will turn back and your arm hurts on the plate. The bathroom is a standard unit bus, but the mold is conspicuous and the cleanliness is not felt. Also, the drainage is bad, and the water surface of the bath tub rises during the shower. The bad drainage is similar to the toilet, and there is a knack for the way of water flowing. I am glad that there is a amenities and a deodorant spray. There is a humidifier, but the water has only about 3 h, so it is difficult to use while sleeping. There is also a refrigerator, but it was difficult to use because the packing was broken and the cold air leaked. Breakfast is not worth eating. White rice feels like eating a kiritapo before baking, and the grains are crushed and heavy. Only the meaning of the side dishes is not understood. By the way, miso soup is red miso and the ingredients are daikon, but it is too boiled and the smell of soybeans is terrible.

We have had the loveliest of stays here! It is a very friendly hotel, and it felt like an authentic modern Japanese experience. The buffet for dinner and breakfast were amazing, with lots of fresh fish and salads. We were travelling for a special birthday, and the hotel kindly gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate, which was a lovely touch! The onsen (sento) was quite an experience. It is separate for men and women, and has a beautiful outdoor pool with views over the bay, which is highly recommended! We had a Mountain View room, but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment at all. There is not really a bar to have pre-dinner drinks, but there is a gift shop which sells beer and wine to enjoy in your room. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d highly recommend it to all travellers!

The two prospect hot springs on the fifth floor are top-notch! Men and women rotate in the morning and afternoon. There is also a hot spring on the first floor with massage services. Massage is not recommended. The sofa area on the third floor overlooks Matsushima and offers a variety of free drinks and snacks. Very relaxing area. 40 minutes of free karaoke can be reserved before 8 pm, and there are Chinese songs to choose from. The hotel is directly connected to the glass pavilion next to it, and you can visit it for free with your room card. Bicycle rental is free. Breakfast and dinner are very rich and delicious. Dinner is a buffet of 11,000 yen per person including tax. There are also many choices of drinks and wines. The oyster rice and chestnut cake are especially recommended for dinner. The sanitation of the hotel is very good, and the attitude of the service staff is also good. The hotel provides free bus transfers between Songdo Station and Songdo Coast Station. You can check the timetable on the hotel website, which usually coincides with the train schedule.

Wonderful lodging newly created in 2017 by former owners of five hotels in the fishing town of Onagawa, a city that was devastated by the 3/11/2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. El Faro is unique with trailer homes repurposed into B&B style rooms. El Faro is next to the Onagawa Station on the Ishinomaki Line which connects to Sendai by one transfer to the Senseki Line. The town is almost finished with rebuilding the port area, including a new shopping mall full of gift shops and restaurants, The rooms are clean and well appointed. The breakfast is served by Okasei, a seafood restaurant in the shopping mall; its one of the best hotel breakfasts that Ive enjoyed in all of Japan! Excellent value with beautiful presentation, like in a fine restaurant.

First time using this. Look online and choose Sakura's room on the 4th floor. It was a trip to honor each other's hard work for many years on each other's 60th birthday. A satisfying dinner that I had without saving. After the meal, the hotel staff gave us a surprise celebration 💮 A wonderful performance at the timing when we were saying, “Let’s go back to our room soon” 🎇 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughtfulness. Thank you very much to all the friendly staff who took care of us. Next time I would like to use it with my family for 3 generations 😊

The ocean view is wonderful. You can enter the hot spring while looking at the sea. It's a hot spring by the sea, so it warms up. The fish dishes for dinner were the best. The sashimi was delicious, of course, with abalone odoriyaki and fukahire. On the day I went, an event called Star Party was held on the rooftop, and I enjoyed Saturn Venus and Broom Stars with a full-scale commentary with an astronomical telescope.

9/4-6 Thank you for staying for two nights. Choose a Japanese-style room for the room. There is a spacious table on the window side and it is wide 々. Ocean view. There are many sofas in the lobby and the terrace is nice. The rooms are also small with 26 rooms. Thank you for your diligence in pick-up and drop-off. The meal is a Japanese kaiseki and Western style is also adopted. It was delicious from aperitif to water confectionery. 😋 The hot springs are not hot either. Miharashi Observation Bath is especially recommended. Also, when the corona wreck calms down, I would like to bother you again. What an ice bowl!
