Hotel Resort Inn Ishigakijima

I was in trouble because the hotel's automatic check-in didn't work... I called and a staff member opened the door, and I was able to enter my room safely. The bed sheets, towels, etc. were clean.

The most annoying thing about this hotel is the poor light blocking ability of the rooms. There are no blackout curtains, so your sleep is disturbed at dawn in the morning. Also, during my stay, there was a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, and the lightning lit up the room (although earplugs prevented the thunder), waking me up every time. The next annoying thing was checking in. The hotel was unmanned, so you were forced to check in by yourself by entering your details into the machine, but for some reason, even if you entered your reservation number as instructed on the screen, or the phone number you used when making the reservation, it was not accepted at all, and I ended up protesting by phone, and was finally able to check in. Incidentally, there was no information on the reservation review screen in advance that the hotel was unmanned. If I had known from the beginning that it was unmanned, I would not have chosen this hotel. I hope that the operators of this reservation site will improve this lack of important information in the future. The third annoying thing was the low temperature of the water for the shower and bathtub in the bathroom. I looked everywhere for the water temperature control device but couldn't find it, and gave up on the first day because I was late taking a bath. I called again the next day to protest, and was told that the temperature control device was located next to the guest room entrance, far away from the bathroom. If it's in such a ridiculous location, why don't they give some kind of information to the customer? In the first place, why do they have to set such a low temperature as the default in the first place? The guest rooms are relatively spacious, have facilities such as a range and a water heater, and are right in front of the bus stop, so it's a shame that the basic points of a lodging facility as mentioned above are not provided, even though there are many good points.

It's right in front of the bus stop, clean, and the room is so spacious it's almost too big for a 1, and the price is cheap! Some people might not mind, but the heated toilet seat was added to an old toilet, so the size didn't fit and it was very difficult to use. I understand that this is unavoidable due to the structure, but if it was a normal heated toilet seat, the whole room would be 100 points out of 100.

I stayed here to participate in the Ishigakijima Marathon. Check-out was at 11am, so it was nice to be able to take a shower and change clothes after finishing the race.

Conveniently located right in front of a supermarket and bus stop. More of an apar**ent than a hotel. I didn't meet any staff, but I had no problems with the amenities I needed. It was spacious enough for two adults and one child, but the unit bath was small. I didn't notice much noise.

Other than the occasional loud footsteps from upstairs, the facility and rooms were clean and it was convenient for shopping and easy to use.

There is a washing machine, so it's super easy to clean up after splashing around in the water with swimsuits, rash guards, towels, etc. Aeon Town, a local supermarket with a McDonald's attached, is just a 1-3 minute walk away. The fridge is large and there are plenty of cookware and tableware, so you can make dinner on your own. It's spacious enough for four adults. However, it has a unit bath, so while it's fine for a family, it might be a bit awkward for a group of four friends.

The only downside is that parking is limited, but there are two supermarkets nearby, which is convenient.
