Five minutes walk from Maseato beach and from the bus station to the city center and airport, the hotel is very convenient for a beach holiday. Around the hotel, however, there aren't many dining options, and the city center is 2.5 kms away.
Room is very basic but overall this was a good stay for 2 nights.

Suitable for both short and long stays. The location is a little far from the city center, but it is right next to ANA Continental Ishigaki (3 minutes walk), so it is convenient to take a bus from the airport and a bus to the city center. In addition, you can see the night fireworks of ANA Intercontinental perfectly, and we enjoyed the fireworks on New Year's Day!
Basic amenities are well-equipped, and the bed was very good! The bathtub was also large, and it was nice to be able to stretch your legs out in the bath!
I booked early, and stayed over the New Year holidays, but I was able to stay for 3 nights for two people for less than 18,000 yen!
It was difficult to make a reservation in Okinawa because rental cars have decreased dramatically due to COVID-19, so I bought a 5-day Michikusa Free Pass (2,000 yen)! (1,000 yen for 1 day) Just a round trip from the airport costs more than 500 yen, so I was able to go to Kabira Bay via the city center, and it was a very good deal! In this day and age, when you can search for bus schedules on a map app, there was no inconvenience in sightseeing. The only bus stop that isn't ANA Continental Ishigaki is in front of Tokushukai Hospital (a little less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel). This is also on the airport line, so it was convenient for going to the airport and downtown!

The property itself is very nice with a lot of amenities, including a washing machine in the room and a communal dryer guests could use. The staff working there was kind and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the property is very near another hotel, which a city bus stops at regularly, so it was very convenient to catch the bus from the nearby location.
A very beautiful beach is also very accessible from the property with the water even being visible from the balcony.
There is only staff there certain hours, so at checkout we were responsible for dropping our key in a box. The receptionist told us that would be the case, but merely pointed in the direction of the box without showing us where it was specifically, so we had a small bit of panic the day we checked out, being unsure where to drop the key. It wasn’t a big deal, but I would advise you to check where it is before it comes down to crunch time.
The biggest drawback for us was that, although they have a very nice kitchenette in the room, if you want to use any utensils or pans it costs ¥1000 PER DAY. This seems unreasonably high to me. I would gladly have rented a set for ¥1000 for our STAY, but ¥1000 every single day was too much in my opinion.

Kinjo-san has experienced this on other islands. 1000 yen for parking is expensive here. I was in a room not facing the sea. There were about 20 ants. Other rooms seem to be mostly occupied by long-term guests. There is a lot of traffic, so the windows cannot be opened. The bathtub is large and good. I also like the bed mattress and pillow. The dryer on the second floor is open until 10pm.
