Aalborg Hotel

Great hotel, nice and clean, and staff friendly, especially the girl on reception. Shower was an eco shower which was ok but made it feel a little cold. Bar area nice and relaxed. Brilliant location, slope side and in town. Would stay again.

A nice hotel with a great location to head out on to the slopes. Staff were great and very welcoming. Took me a while to figure out how to get to my room as it was on the ground floor but required going down stairs, down a corridor then up stairs. Quite a few from the group I was with found it and the room and locker numbering system confusing. Hotel has WiFi but most didn't choose to use it as it doesn't allow you to view images/videos only text.

We went skiing in Les Deux Alpes and stayed at Hotel Aalborg for 5 night. A perfect location next to the skiing area, with the sunniest terras in Les Deux Alpes. Everybody at the hotel was extremely friendly, service oriented and helpful. Service at the terras was perfect, so was it in the bar, reception and restaurant. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. It was convenient to have a ski-shop in the same building and parking next to it. The hotel is not new but there is a nice and cosy a**osphere. The rooms contain what one need for a great holiday, beds were good but, with one small remark, our bathroom was a bit outdated and could do with an uplift. As a 3 star hotel, it offers very good value for money. In our opinion, with a few uplifts it could easily be considered a 4 star hotel. We enjoyed staying at Aalborg and will be happy to come back.

Unfortunatelly our stay at hotel was very dissapointing to what the fotos show! Everything was bad from our first day, the room very old, unpleasant, dirty carpet, no tea, coffee, no fridge, no soap, they offee shampoo gel to be used as a soap! The food in restaurant terrible, everything we ordered at dinner was untasty, the desserts were worst than the one u can buy in supermarket! The breakfast for all our stay was the worst I have had in Europe, it resembles to the one hotels in Africa offer! Always running out of croassants, eggs, which were the mainly meal as there was not much else, once I came 20 min before 10 am when they close and there was no more bread and croassants, had to ask, they offered some homemade cookies which were very hard and not possible to eat! The coffee from mashine tastes very very bad! I ordered once a crepe, it went in the trush, never had such a bad crepe! It looks like the hotel does not have a chef, instead somebody who has no clue about simple normal food! The only good things about the hotel are the bar and reception staff and the view. There are so many other hotels nearby close to the pists Im sure cant be so bad as this one!

A nice hotel in a perfect location for skiing next to the ski lift and ski schools. Staff are very nice and welcoming and made this one of our best holidays to date. Yes some of the rooms on the car park side could do with updating but we were happy with the whole package especially as they have ski hire on site as well so it is all v easy.

Super friendly and helpful staff, looked after us from start to finish. We were made to feel very welcome the moment we arrived, and had a fantastic week. Great food, excellent service and a truly amazing location. Didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

I loved that it was family friendly. More lighting in the hallways at night would be great.

Thank you to the Aalborg hotel team, very accommodating on a number of areas with my booking, bed preference and providing us early check-in upon arrival to swap out of our clothes and head to the slopes and letting us keep our ski locker until we were done skiing on check out day. Room was larger than expected and comfortable, towel heaters in the bathroom are always a great plus in ski hotels as it kept the bathroom toasty for post-ski showers and helped us make sure our ski gear was dry for the next day. Am not sure I'm a fan of their dinner option (basically just a single option set meal is possible) but know they cater more to people who book a "demi-pension" so that they don't need to think or plan for breakfast or dinner. I like options but if that doesn't appeal to you either I know for next time that there are tons of restaurants a convenient easy walk away! Am pretty sure Aalborg is my go-to hotel from now on whenever I visit Les Deux Alpes, merci!
