Arriving at this hotel, the hall was truly amazing, but there was small rooms and very important no English breakfast, no pan cake, no sausages or bacon for breakfast,no exotic fruit and no dried fruit,just apple,orange and Mandarine like in the hospital!there was cold pizzas for breakfast and there was also no toaster, the It took the kitchen 20 minutes to toast two slices of bread.Furthermore, the evenings are never lively, no music, such a beautiful but useless hall, a bit of piano bar?! Entertainment if it rains? I recommend the owner a nice trip to visit other hotels

After some discussion in the room, the previous times, the chef, very kind, prepares me small, very tasty alternatives and for this I thank him very much. On my third experience, upon arrival in the room, without even a good morning or welcome, I was immediately told by the maitre d' in the breakfast room, in a very rude way, that, "due to directives from above", I can no longer receive lactose and gluten-free alternatives, but exclusively what is displayed on the buffet. I go out without having breakfast as I can't eat anything. I ask the manager if an alternative is possible, being a 4 star, and he replies yes. The next day I received the "alternatives", absolutely not like the other times, and I had to send them back, they were so unedifying and impoverished to the bone.

Very friendly, welcoming and prepared staff. However, this was not enough to fill the shortcomings of the structure which presents itself well in the reception hall and in the external part. Then you go up to the rooms and the disappoin**ent is that the rooms are apparently clean but in reality only superficially. The worst note is for the mattresses... uncommentable... you need to do physiotherapy when you return... terrible even when sitting down. Breakfast not of very poor quality. The budget is mediocre, it describes a 3 star hotel, certainly not a 4. Good location for walking to the center of the island. But we won't be returning here.

I had a great time at the Hotel Royal in Ischia Porto. One of the best I have visited with the location featuring two outdoor thermal pools and one indoor. It has an agreement with the NHS and you can get trea**ent by paying the relevant ticket. Having said that, the cuisine is of the highest quality. , always fresh and plentiful food. Very high quality/price ratio, especially in the low season. I did the mud baths early in the morning and here too I found very competent and professional operators. A structure to take into consideration if you want to spend a nice holiday.

The plus of this structure are the people, all very kind, helpful and welcoming. Normal rooms, decent meals at the restaurant, what was out of place was the cleanliness: not in line with the overall quality offered. As soon as we arrived in the room everything seemed clean, in reality the floor had not been swept, neither in the room nor in the bathroom, much less a tall piece of furniture had been dusted. I promptly contacted the cleaning staff who did, quickly, their best, leaving the floor partially dirty. The next day the room was redone, but the floor remained as dirty as we had left it, basically it wasn't swept at all. Another sore point is the wellness area: not manned by staff, so anyone can do what they want, therefore disorder and dirt left by guests reigned. The same goes for the indoor pool: the edges were full of dirt. Different story for the outdoor pools, everything clean and tidy. I would return for the welcome, but the spa is not functional.

Older hotel well maintained, not very well, comfortable rooms, more than good half board. Very bad. This hotel doesn't even deserve half a star. The rooms were very dirty: piles of hidden rubbish, black rubbish bags hidden behind wardrobes, hair on the floor and on the bathroom fixtures, mold on the walls, smell of smoke. The rooms have no mosquito nets and animals of all kinds enter, our room was a basement without light and the entrance door did not close well so it could be easily opened by anyone. Furnishings from the 70s, broken tiles, poor and poor quality breakfast, poorly maintained swimming pools, worn towels... I could make a kilometric list of problems. When we reported this to the manager he replied that we couldn't expect anything else from a standard room. It's a shame that we spent 180 euros per night for a 4-star hotel and found ourselves in a hostel with dubious cleanliness and poor organization.
