We stayed here for 4 nights. Wonderful location, lovely lobby, sitting areas. Room spartan but very clean. Comfortable beds and great shower. Breakfast was meat, cheese, bread, tarts, croissants, juice and selection of coffee, espresso, cappuccino or tea. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location, very friendly service, very bad wifi, very basic (but clean) rooms. For breakfast, they ran out of multiple items before 9am. That said, the price was very reasonable, and the room was clean and safe.

Old and rough furnishings, bathroom without ventilation and with a door rotten with humidity. Dark environments. Breakfast just acceptable. The only positive note is the strategic position. It would take little to revive the fortunes of this place and give the guest a minimum of well-being. Not recommended

Absurd! It takes a lot of courage to sell rooms for a structure in that state! I wouldn't criticize the post war decor if only they had had a proper cleaning! Towels that looked like rags reused thousands and thousands of times, corpses of dead flies inside the shower door, smell of dust and humidity from the cellar inside the room, wifi not working, not to mention the almost non-existent breakfast! You have to leave your keys at reception every time you leave the hotel, but then you have to be very lucky in finding someone when you return to return them to you, or you have to wait for someone to notice you and come very calmly to assist you. I stayed at the Villa Maria hotel in Ischia and unfortunately my experience was extremely negative. The room we were given was in poor condition, the furnishings were dated and battered, and everything looked like it had been thrown together in an improvised manner. Breakfast was practically non-existent, with jams of questionable quality and no variety of choice. The towels in the room were practically tattered and worn, while the shower door simply did not open properly. The bathroom had no window and the ventilation system was clearly inadequate and undersized, accumulating dust and humidity. The icing on the cake was the exorbitant amount we paid for a night in these unsatisfactory conditions. €160 per night was an incredibly excessive price for what we received. I can't help but feel like it was a waste of money for such a disappointing stay. I strongly advise against the Villa Maria hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience during their stay in Ischia.

I stayed in this hotel in the last few days of August, excellent location to avoid the terrible breakfast and dinner, I recommend staying overnight only. Very kind staff, small room but everything was there, very close to the port.

I have no words for how unclear some hoteliers in Ischia are when booking rooms. I needed one for evening support before occupying a different hotel accommodation the following morning and I stumbled upon this structure. Room located in a separate building on the second floor, of which we were not informed when booking. The room is not in the main building of the hotel, to say it's old is an understatement. A total desolation! And what's more, at check in they didn't have the decency to accompany me to my room or offer to help me with my luggage. Truly an unforgettable experience in the negative sense of the term. Luckily, that was only one night
