Hotel Villa Maria

Old and rough furnishings, bathroom without ventilation and with a door rotten with humidity. Dark environments. Breakfast just acceptable. The only positive note is the strategic position. It would take little to revive the fortunes of this place and give the guest a minimum of well-being. Not recommended

A strategic hotel in its position a few steps from the port and the walking streets of Ischia. Cozy and clean hotel, very friendly staff, I recommend. Some rooms enjoy a beautiful view of the port, very pleasant when waking up. The only flaw is the breakfast which should be looked after a little more. I'll be back

I stayed at the Villa Maria hotel in Ischia and unfortunately my experience was extremely negative. The room we were given was in poor condition, the furnishings were dated and battered, and everything looked like it had been thrown together in an improvised manner. Breakfast was practically non-existent, with jams of questionable quality and no variety of choice. The towels in the room were practically tattered and worn, while the shower door simply did not open properly. The bathroom had no window and the ventilation system was clearly inadequate and undersized, accumulating dust and humidity. The icing on the cake was the exorbitant amount we paid for a night in these unsatisfactory conditions. €160 per night was an incredibly excessive price for what we received. I can't help but feel like it was a waste of money for such a disappointing stay. I strongly advise against the Villa Maria hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience during their stay in Ischia.

I stayed in this hotel in the last few days of August, excellent location to avoid the terrible breakfast and dinner, I recommend staying overnight only. Very kind staff, small room but everything was there, very close to the port.

Good morning, returning from three days in Ischia, staying at the Villa Maria hotel, I would like to thank all the staff for their professionalism, kindness, helpfulness towards us, making our short but intense stay fantastic. Central structure, spacious, clean rooms, equipped with every comfort, excellent breakfast and dinner,

The structure is located in a central position, a few steps from the main street and the marina. It is therefore easy to reach the various typical restaurants of the island, the nightlife streets, the various beaches, and above all the bus parking area where trips depart for any direction on the island. A few meters from the structure there are three pharmacies. I believe the rooms have been recently renovated and are of medium size, with classic furnishings while the bathroom recalls the typical Ischia style composed of light blue and blue tiles right into the shower cabin, where in addition to the classic fixed shower, there is possibility of using the mobile arm for washing. The bathroom taps, branded Zucchetti, recall a modern line which therefore leaves a further appearance of recent renovation. The linen was replaced every day. The staff at the reception as well as those in charge of the floors proved to be friendly and helpful with every request. Breakfast offers not only a typically American proposal consisting of cured meats and cheeses but also a classic Italian one with a vast choice of products ranging from classic empty croissants to be filled to your liking with jams and hazelnut creams to biscuits, tarts and babà. For beverages the offer consists of cappuccino, coffee, fruit juices, cold milk. The dining room staff is attentive to the needs of the guests and the cleanliness of the rooms as well as the care of them made the stay pleasant and pleasant.
