From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I was enveloped in luxury. The decor exuded sophistication, and every detail was meticulously crafted. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, from the seamless check-in process to the personalized recommendations for local attractions. My room was a sanctuary of tranquility, boasting breathtaking views and plush amenities. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight, with delectable dishes that tantalized my taste buds. Overall, my stay was nothing short of extraordinary, and I can't wait to return to this haven of hospitality."

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted like an old friend. The vibe is relaxed, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is just right. Rooms? Oh, they're like a snug cocoon after a day of adventure. Think modern comfort meets rustic charm. And let's talk food—mouthwatering local dishes and gourmet delights that'll make your taste buds dance. And after hitting the slopes or exploring the village, there's nothing like unwinding in the spa. Picture yourself soaking in a hot tub, with snowflakes drifting down outside. Pure bliss. Hotel Madlein isn't just a place to crash—it's an experience. So if you're after a slice of Alpine paradise, look no further. This place ticks all the boxes, and then some.

We stayed at the Madlein for the second time in 6 months. We are always welcomed and treated so well. My niece was greeted with an Easter bunny and chocolates. My dad and his girlfriend both had birthdays during the stay and they were treated to cake and gifts. Honestly could not recommend this hotel enough. The Simpson Family

Wonderful hotel, so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is luxurious and cosy. The breakfasts are absolutely fantastic as were all the evening meals. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Lovely Madlein even left a gift in my room for my birthday. I had the best time in this gorgeous family run hotel.

Spent a night there and ate dinner in the restaurant. There were several problems: The bar smells of stale nicotine The quality of food in the restaurant was mediocre (main course was tepid) They charge 12 euros for a 2 euro bottle of water The disco is noisy in the bedrooms and does not close until 5 30 am

If you are planning to visit Madlein in 2023 do read this! We have previously stayed at Madlein in 2018 and decided to come back this year after Covid - however it was not the same hotel we visited back then. The quantity have gone up and the quality have gone down. Main issue: we brought 2 rooms with 2 balconies as we were 4 people (like we did 5 years ago). However, we soon realized that the hotel had given us two rooms but with a shared balcony and connecting doors? (Without asking if we even wanted this?). One of the rooms were looking at the roof which is not very flattering. Moreover, our two rooms were located right above their nightclub which made it super difficult to sleep from Thursday till Sunday, but the reception and even manager did absolutely nothing about it. I do not believe anyone would pay the same price for room 154 and 155 as for any of the others (see also picture of the “balcony”). General issues: the staff is unprofessional and are not at all service-minded. For a person who have been in the hospitality industry for quite some time I was horrified to experience the non-existing customer service. Below is examples: 1. On arrival day I asked the reception for places to eat lunch in the terrain but they told me that no restaurant were taking bookings (which I later realized is a lie). 2. We explained our issues with the rooms several times to the reception and every time they told us they would come back to us, but every time we had to make the contact and ask if there very any news. Our lights did not work and we had to tell them twice and it never got fixed. 3. Tuesday evening our dinner service took 3 hours (and not in a good way). The waiter forgot the wine, gave us soup twice and in general it just seemed like the restaurant staff were stressed and too occupied. Friday (our last day) some of the waiters were in fact arguing in front of us because a lot of orders came in wrong, table service were all around and the waiters had to ask us what we ordered. Two things that they still have is great food and great spa - unfortunately that is not balancing up the overall bad experience we had. I truly hope the hotel do read this feedback and maybe one day they can gain back some of that uniqueness they once had.

The Hotel is ok, honestly could be better, I’m definitely disgusted from the food in the restaurant what I got for dinner. The staff is rude and unprofessional, cold food, for this money I would expect something better. The rooms are good, cleaned and nice decorated. Honestly I would NOT recommend for anyone, waste of money!!!
