We’re glad we picked the Solaria for our recent visit to Ischgl. The hotel is a close to some of the main ski lifts and is only a short walk from the centre of town (either at street level or via the Dorftunnel). Our standard room was well equipped and comfortable, we overlooked the street which wasn’t too busy or noisy apart from the odd late-night revelers coming by. The staff (some from the family owners) are super friendly and helpful, and made us feel very comfortable whilst we were there. The food in the restaurant was very good, and I suspect we rather over-indulged in the week we were there! The salad bar was great, and each evening there was the usual choice of a fish, meat or vegetarian based main course. There is a bar/lounge area that guests can make use of and there was always space there when we wanted to use it. A nice touch was the afternoon snack that was available for guests returning from the slopes. The hotel has a lovely pool area with massage jets within the main pool; there is also a large spa area with sauna, steam room etc. and treatments are available if desired. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to the Solaria the next time we make a visit to Ischgl!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Solaria after an 8 year gap, and it was wonderful to be back. The locations is excellent for the lifts, the facilities are just what you need after a hard day's skiing, food tasty, but most importantly the staff very welcoming. Thanks for having us.

We've just had a second fantastic family holiday at the Solaria. The owners and all the staff are so welcoming with very high service standards. It is one of our two most favourite hotels in the Alps and we look forward to returning again. The hotel is done to a very high standard with modern twists on alpine wooden style. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with large modern bathrooms. We enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna complex every evening. They are a welcome relief from a long day of skiing. Great location. Only 3 mins walk to the main cable car and a really comfortable new boot room with boot heaters. The food is excellent. A huge breakfast choice with fresh cooled eggs. 4 course dinner has a good choice with each dish carefully prepared and variety every day. Afternoon snack is more like another full meal and a real treat. We definitely never went hungry! Even the little touches like fresh apples by the reception and sweets for the kids to ski with. All the staff were extremely kind and also professional. It is they who really make the hotel stand out from others. We celebrated my birthday during our stay and the hotel team went out of their way to make it a special day with a thoughtful gift, card and a splendid surprise cake. We have recommended the Solaria to family qnd friends and can't wait to come back.

We had an excellent experience staying here for a week to ski fabulous Ischgl. The hotel is very close to the two main lifts and yet just slightly away from noisy après ski. The town centre is party town at the end of the day! Our room had everything we needed and was warm and cosy (mid range room). The bath was enormous - great for a long soak after a hard day. Lots of storage for clothes and gear. Wonderful view down the valley. Staff could not have been more helpful. Room cleaned and restocked daily. The breakfast and dinners were tasty, well presented and plentiful. I used the sauna and steam room once, and it was calm peaceful and clean. Nice to have these facilities if the weather is not good for skiing. All in all, a wonderful hotel - certainly we would return. Thank you to the whole team.

Just back from a week at Hotel Solaria and already planning to return next year. Ischgl/Samnaun is an excellent and extensive ski area and the hotel faultless. Located in Ischgl Ost, a 3 minute walk to Pardatschgratbahn lift and 5 minutes to the tunnel to the main village. Super friendly staff, elegant restaurant with superb food, beautifully presented, relaxed bar area for apres ski snack and cakes. Great spa area and pool. Thank you Markus, Ankie and your team

I would happily state the Solaria is one of the best hotels in ischgl, in my opinion the best. When you put value for money, friendly staff, exceptional service, wonderful quisine and closeness to the ski lift, this hotel will not be beaten. Traditional Austrian hotel offering everything my group of 12 could have ever wished for

Great location of the building. It is situated almost by the ski lift, walking distance of around three minutes. Accommodation and services are at high level. The staff was very kind and helpful during our stay. Meals were for the most of the stay great. One big drawback was a fee for tap water during dinners. All inclusive holiday should include drinks for dinners - at least water! Some of ingredients in the meals were overused, the chef should go by "simple is sometimes better". The fitness room is poorly equipped, dumbbells only up to 10 kgs are shame. Barbell and rack for bench not present. Wellness was great though, not crowded.

This was not my first stay in the Solaria hotel and I was more than happy to go back. We booked based on knowing the food, the service, the staff have always been first class. Apart from a small hick-up on a couple of days, due to staff shortages (which really did not cause too much of an issue) the entire stay was perfect.
