A recently updated chalet in the village at Big Powderhorn Mountain. Timbuktu is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac and within a short 10-minute walk to Big Powderhorn Lodge and ski lifts. Uniquely, Timbuktu is powered by an on-site solar system which is supplemented by other renewables. Timbuktu is a duplex with us, the owners, living next door. This is it! Our place is a great place for your big family or group to ski, snowmobile or just relax. We offer plenty of room with 5 private bedrooms. We have an area of open space including a living room and kitchen that is over 1000sq.' It has 2 fireplaces. A gas fireplace in the living room and if you prefer wood there is a wood one in the kitchen. Time to clean up, we have 3 full bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap. Also a half bath upstairs.Then a sauna and hot tub to relax in after a tough day of play. Also a rec room with a foosball table and ping pong table. Wi Fi and Cable on a huge flatscreen. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom A-Frame chalet is located just 3 blocks from the Mountain and just a short drive to Black River Harbor, The Waterfalls, Copper Peak, and much more. We are in the heart of the Western UP vacation country. Our lodge features a hot tub, seasonal firepit, nice WiFi, 58" smart TV, books and games galore, and most importantly a space to make great memories. The lodge is two story northwoods A-Frame in the "Powder Village" neighborhood near Big Powderhorn Ski Resort. In the winter, the neighborhood is alive with skiers and snowmobilers as the property is close to Snowmobile Trail #2. Powdermill Resort economy-level Condo across from the Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski Resort and just minutes from Black River Harbor, Copper Peak, Blackjack and Indianhead Big Snow Resorts. This is a top floor two-story condo overlooking a beautiful forested area above the Powdermill Creek just north of Powdermill Falls. The condo was totally remodeled in 2020 with new kitchen, bathroom, carpet, fixtures, and more. The kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer big enough for your provisions and perhaps the day's catch, an electric stove/oven, microwave and coffeemaker. The kitchen is stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, pots, pans, and more. The full bathroom features a shower with adjustable head, tub, toilet, and vanity. The bathroom is stocked with linen service including towels and washcloths. The living room features a solid oak dining room table, with 4 chairs (a 5th is in the closet you can use), pull-out sofa sleeper and LED smart TV with cable package. The closet also has a cot and linens. The master suite features a queen bed, workstation, vanity, and additional storage. Note that there is stairs in the unit.
