This snow-ski property is quiet and beautiful in the summer. However, there’s a lot of unmet opportunity to make the green space and beautiful lake view an added amenity for Guests. I just wanted to be outside so although there were picnic tables, some nice chairs or loungers and some landscaping would do wonders to enhance their property. Lots of cigarette butts outside the 2 front entrances; that’s always a shame to see. And it’s gross. We didn’t notice any canisters for butts. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but several people seemed to be enjoying both. There was no food option on site as the restaurant was closed. Town was about 20 minutes away, so plan accordingly if you need snacks/food. Overall, we enjoyed this stay for a quiet and affordable portion of our northern WI trip.

On the road The bathroom was very small and the wifi didn’t work inside the room. No phone in the room. Staff was very helpful and friendly and the food was tasty.

The pool/hot tub area are big, would have been nice to have a table or two in there along with towels. Rooms were nice, restaurant staff was inadequate, ordered food and never received it after waiting 45 minutes.

An older worn property. 6 chairs, no tables, no chaise lounge in pool area. No pool towels, no monitoring of babies in hot tub...so hot and unhealthy for baby.

Big rooms, tiny showers. No phones in rooms to call for issues with tv or room items, but once we walked all the way down, the staff was amazing. They ran out of washcloths but otherwise it was nice. The shower leaked all over and was super tiny, smaller than cruise ships. The restaurant was a little expensive and breakfast is not included. Pretty area.

The room was smaller than expected, room was dark (the day, desk pern rounded up an extra light) TV reception not so good, WIFI was spotty. The food was good when available, Denali made a cheese pizza (her first try!) for us when getting back to the hotel late. She was great, give her a raise! There were some shortcomings, but we would stay there again, hope to be back that way in a couple years. 🙂

We were upgraded to a bigger room for staging so a long period of time! Everyone was so friendly. The pool and the hot in were very clean!
