A fantastic hotel right next to the airport in Iquitos. We stayed here for a night on either side of a 3 day trip to the jungle (booked with Amazon Green Treasure who I highly recommend) and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel owner Wilson was extremely friendly and helpful, he picked us up from the airport and even insisted on dropping us off for our flight home at 5am! He helped us plan where to buy various items we needed for our jungle trip and recommended 2 fabulous restaurants for dinner in Iquitos. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms were air conditioned, and we enjoyed relaxing in the pool with a beer. My room was closest to the main road and on the first night there was a bit of traffic noise, so I recommend bringing some ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, but it was much quieter on the second night and none of my travel companions heard anything from their rooms. We were able to store our luggage in the hotel while we went on our jungle excursion which was really handy, and Wilson helped us negotiate with the TukTuk drivers to get us a good price into town. Overall a great experience, we were made to feel extremely welcome and relaxed.

Great hidden gem close to the airport. We just needed a place to take a nice, hot shower and relax in some AC while waiting for our flight after a stay in the Amazon. The owner was fantastic and accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

After two weeks in the jungle this charming little place was a warm welcome home before heading to the airport. Wilson and Liliana (on-site owners) have created a clean, comfortable and safe place for solo and group travelers alike. You can relax by the pool or head into town for food or excursions. The hospitality is unmatched and literally a minute ride to the airport.

Very nice owners who were kind and helpful. Nice spacious air conditiined room looking out to the beautiful back yard/pool area. Restaurant not far away. Breakfast included and very short ride to the airport. Recommended.

We stayed 3 friends at Poseidon Guest House for two night and can highly recommend!. It was the perfect place for us. The owner William did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and helped us with everything from airport pick-up and recommendations for activities. You quickly feel at home at this place and is it perfect to get an introduction to the jungle city.

Me and my 2 friends were stuck in Iquitos 3 days longer than planned, by chance we booked a room here and so glad we did! The owner is very kind and went out of his way to help us and make us the most comfortable we could be. The rooms are clean and the grounds are well kept. Would highly recommend this place. The pool was very fun and he even helped us crack open a coconut to eat:)

C’était un endroit très convivial. Nous avions besoin d’une nuit à Iquitos avant de partir dans la jungle quelques jours et c’était idéal. Tout près de l’aéroport, air climatisée, douche, belles chambres! Wilson et sa femme étaient tellement accueillants et bienveillants. Ils nous on fait à déjeuner avant notre départ dans la jungle, ils sont venus nous chercher à l’aéroport, ils nous on conseillés pour les bons restaurants dans le coin et ils nous expliquer un peu la culture et l’histoire du Pérou! Je recommande fortement :)

Une des deux déceptions dans les hébergements de notre séjour de cinq semaines au Pérou. A proximité de l’aéroport, au bord de la route principale très fréquentée. Difficile à trouver pour les chauffeurs de tuk-tuk qui ne connaissent pas l’endroit. De l’extérieur, on hésite à entrer, car on passe d’abord par un genre d’entrepôt avant d’atteindre l’accueil. Propos anti français du propriétaire qui n’hésite pas à afficher sa détestation. Nous étions les seuls résidents ce soir là, on nous a cependant attribué une toute petite chambre (Pourtant réservée de longue date « Supérieure ») face à la réception, éclairée tard en soirée (Pas de rideaux occultants) Même si vous avez à prendre un avion tôt le matin, privilégiez une chambre en ville (15mn de Tuk Tuk en plus) Seul point positif, le propriétaire a finalement accepté de nous déposer à l’aéroport le matin (Moins de 5mn de route) Bon à savoir également, des frais de « Ménage » sont ajoutés au tarif initial de la chambre. Une étape à oublier dans ce beau pays.
