It is a very comfortable hotel, with simple, but very agreable installations. Its location, in the sea strand, is beautiful to see and taking photos. Sleeping with the sound of the vagues is incredible! restaurant has a wide operating hours, and the menu incorporates many regional food.

In this hotel I have we have a normal experience, the service was good and food is has also good taste, but nothing out of ordinary. The location is in the north part of IQQ, good but not the best. The gym is not well maintained, also is very simple. The view and the pool is very good. Nothing more to add.

My one-night stay at Gavina Sens was great, but my whole experience was drastically elevated thanks to the incredible service of Antonio at reception. Not only does he speak fluent English, he is the kindest individual I have met anywhere in Iquique, and he goes above and beyond to ensure stays are the best here. He and his team set me up with a wonderful ocean-view room for my stay, and the views were outstanding. The price is high, but the cost is worth it. Moreover, when I encountered difficulties with electric wheelchair accessibility and taking a long-distance bus, I briefly returned to Gavina Sens just to seek out Antonio’s assistance (as he really was the only English speaker who could understand and solve my complex needs). He showed excellent compassion and effort in coordinating with regional bus companies to ensure my electric wheelchair could have time to be loaded onto the bus, and sure enough, I successfully left the city for a trip to Arica later in the day. Without his help, I would’ve surely been stuck in Iquique for a long time more. All in all, I recommend this property for a classy Iquique night’s sleep!

I stayed only one night for work, comfortable room, needed to get to rest. The food is also very good, the attention of Enrico, the young man from the restaurant, stood out. Very kind and warm in his attention. Your suggestions are excellent.

En general disfrutamos de una buena estadía, pero podría mejorar sin duda. más aun, considerando el valor por noche y la calidad del servicio ofrecido. Destacar su ubicación, rico desayuno aunque con poca variedad, todos los días había lo mismo, y que si bien la mayoría del personal es amable, me llamo la atención la escases de sonrisas en quienes trabajan en el lugar, la limpieza de la habitación podría mejorar. También, nos quedamos un día al almuerzo buffet, pero la comida no era tan rica. A nuestra llegada si bien llegamos antes, y tuvimos que esperar hasta exacta la hora del chek in 15pm, no fue posible recibir ninguna atención y/o gesto de que realmente estuvieran agilizando nuestro ingreso. al ingreso nadie nos explico nada del hotel, ni sobre sus instalaciones o servicios. en nuestra permanencia debimos lidiar con las fiestas del fin de semana que tampoco nadie nos informo, pues si van de descanso la música estridente suena hasta las 12 am. y si quiere participar debe pagar el precio elevado del bebestible, que como huésped no se respeta el valor de los bebestible en restaurant del hotel, INSOLITO. en nuestra estadía compartimos con la familia de los dueños, que lamentablemente acaparaban todo el espacio de piscina, incluyendo gritos y saltos de niños, que si uno va en intención de descanso, irrumpe con esa tranquilidad.

Somos pasajeros frecuentes del hotel y lamentablemente ha bajado su calidad con el tiempo. Las habitaciones no han mejorado los ventanales, éstas NO son termopanel por tanto el ruido del exterior en la noche se siente muy fuerte. Los baños suelen tener mal olor de los desagües. El restaurante tiene tiempos de espera excesivos y la comida es carísima.
