With a waterfront location somewhat secluded from central Iquique, stays at this property are quiet and relaxing. The atmosphere inside is dated, but I observed cleanliness throughout the building. The staff at reception and the restaurant (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (breakfast available free with certain room rates)) were professional and friendly, perhaps not the American-style outgoing type but still kind and helpful. I was able to pay a reasonable fee to upgrade to a room facing the water, which I was very content about; my king room was clean, spacious, and super quiet. Renovations would be the next step to making the rooms even better, though. I would return to the NH Costa if I’m in Iquique again! And for my very first experience in an NH hotel, my interest in the brand is piqued!

Pedí en el restaurante unos canelones de zucchini con salsa boloñesa de setas y queso, y prácticamente me dieron un encebollado con una cantidad exagerada de queso encima, realmente incomible, el zucchini con suerte unas laminitas aparecieron, saldado, el valor no corresponde al tamaño y menos al sabor. Como recomendación, ojalá la persona que atiende el restaurante sea más enfática y tenga una mejor actitud, mucho que decir sobre calidad, precio y atención. Una completa pérdida de dinero con este plato, no me lo pude comer.
