A modern hotel with excellent staff. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good served by helpful friendly staff, one of the best we had in 4 weeks in Greece. An omelette to choice, must have been three eggs at least, spinach, cheese filo pastries, sweet pastries, apple or custard, marble cake, cereal if required, juice, tea of coffee, more than enough for a great start to the day. So why was it a wrong choice and why it might also be not right for you? We arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday to find the pool area occupied by about 60 people, half of them children. The hotels allows this for food and beverage sales purposes. So if you are here on a weekend, or any day in the Greek school holiday which lasts nearly 11 weeks from mid June to 1 September be prepared for loud music and screaming children. If only someone had mentioned this is a review previously. Food and drinks were also more expensive and there is no near alternative for dinner so we drove nearly 20 minutes into town. Those negatives are a pity and I understand perhaps the financial benefits for the hotel, but when a hotel rents itself out to anyone to visit and non residents take over the place it’s definitely not one for us.
