A wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 4 and really enjoyed the home cooked dinner and breakfast that they served. The decor in the villa is incredible.. so much to see everywhere. And super convenient for Agadir airport too. Recommend.

We arrived at the Agadir airport right at dusk and found our driver waiting to whisk us to Villa Du Souss. We arrive and were treated to a gorgeous tagine meal in the beautifully designed lounge. The villa is decorated with a rich mix of Moroccan and Berber designs. The house has a number of common areas for reading or watching TV. Our room is large and has a private terrace. The drought has taken its toll on the gardens which must be breathtaking when the water is running. Even in these dry times, we wandered the garden paths and appreciated the artistry of the grounds. We highly recommend a stay here when arriving from a long journey. What a lovely way to recover from the jet lag and prepare for busy days ahead.

We loved staying at Villa du Souss. Our hosts were very hospitable and cooked us the most delicious tagine. Our bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable. We had such a peaceful night. We also loved the traditional architecture and features of Villa du Souss. A true authentic Moroccan experience.

Everything you’ve read is true. The owner converted his family home, built by his father, into a charming guest lodging. He treated us like houseguests, only without all the awkwardness. He catered to every need with grace. The food was wonderful and he went out of his way to accommodate a gluten intolerance. Everything was perfect.

Villa du Souss is far outside Agadir, but that is part of its charm. It's a wonderful old family home, colorful and airy. The negatives for us were overly hard mattresses and a staircase leafing down to our private bathroom that was a bit difficult to navigate at night. Lack of a shower curtain is also a challenge. But we would stay here again for the gorgeous house and rooms, friendly staff and peaceful location.

This is a rare jewel. The attention to detail is fantastic and the cleanliness is impressive. The home is spacious and the rooms are well decorated in Moroccan decor. Mekki is welcoming and has taken great care in preserving his families oasis. Trust me that you will not be disappointed. I have traveled extensively in Morocco, for the past 10 years, and can say that this was the best place my husband and I have stayed so far. Enjoy and do not hesitate to book this place.

Arriving late at Agadir airport I booked one night at Villa Du Sous before driving south for our climbing trip to the Anti Atlas. What a great place the Villa turned out to be. It's not easy to find so make sure you have directions. Mekki greeted us warmly. We had a delicious pre ordered meal. The rooms are lovely and house is special. The gardens are overflowing with flowers and vegetables. It was a great start to our holiday.

Stunning traditional Moroccan experience. Booked this for our first night as we arrived late into Agadir airport. Thought we’d have to go for a corporate airport hotel but was so pleased to find this family run accommodation 10 mins drive away. Located down a dirt road it’s an absolute gem. Patterns everywhere, interior design heaven, interesting art and books in our room and Mekki the owner was lovely. Would definitely recommend. They also have agreements with local taxis so do let them arrange your transfer as it would have been cheaper if we had.
