Our trip did not start as planned due to lots of snow and ice. However, we were welcomed into the hotel and the room was warm. Every member of the staff smiled and were very polite. The room was basic and the bathroom in need of upgrade. Thanks to all for a pleasant stay, we will be back!

I've been trying to contact the Hotel for over a week now as I would like confirmation of a booking that I made. I've tried all the email addresses and phone Nos listed to no avail. I believe that it is supposed to be getting a refurbishment but can't get any info or update on this. It's a strange way to run a business.

Had a terrible stay at the Kintore Arms Hotel, Inverurie. Was given the "executive suite" but it was very shabby. Carpet threadbare with holes. Cold, draughty window. Two lights weren't working. They said they would come to fix them but never did. Breakfast poor. No-one around in the morning at check out just a note to say leave your key.

Visited as paryof a group. Carvery on offer, sadly the food was cold, the plates were cold, roast potatoes looked like they'd been reheated, as did the boiled potatoes, the green beans still had the ends on. Beef was OK, turkey was nice and moist but cold. Sticky toffee pudding was cold, so cold that it didn't even begin to melt the ice cream served with it. Toilets were in sad state of repair , toilet seats on the floor, lights not working , and carpet in need of a hoover. Sorry but as we found it.

We had an activity superstore voucher to use for a two night stay across various locations in the uk, the kintore arms was one of them. We drove 3/4 hours to stay here and we were highly disappointed with the room standard. Really run down hotel, and the rooms are not only dated and tired, but also not clean. We stayed the one night and checked out the next morning, couldn’t do another night. Toilet seat in the room was broken and not even attached to the toilet, the shower was horrible (dared not shower in it so can’t comment on the pressure), carpets dirty and hair traces all over, dust everywhere especially top of the curtain, cables everywhere and the tv half hanging off the wall we can see the screw wasn’t in the wall. The bed was also rock solid and a tiny double… we never had the breakfast as we just wanted to leave asap. The night we got there we had a pint down in the “bar”, couldn’t even drink it as it was cloudy, tasted off and smelly.. not sure if this was an issue with with pipes… I will say the staff were pleasant and friendly, and when we advised we were leaving they did apologise and say they were closing in 4 weeks time for 3 months to do a refurbishment. Which is good but I don’t think they should be charging anyone to stay in this hotel currently, we looked online and 1 night was £85! I wasn’t too bothered as it was a gifted voucher we used but I would be livid if I paid £85 to stay there. We were charged £50 to have our dogs stay with us but when we left we asked for 50% back as we weren’t staying the 2nd night which the lady on the reception was fine with. Only giving it a 2 star as the staff were nice, and it isn’t their fault. I imagine they get complaints a lot from visitors. I did see the bad reviews for this hotel before we went but normally I find people are a bit fussy and OTT, and for small towns the hotels ate normally dated rooms, but even for me this was not ok to stay in. Felt so uncomfortable in the room and unclean. Window also didn’t close right and hotel is on a main road so very noisy.

It was the worst room we’ve ever stayed in!! Almost like a big cupboard and no window. Shower barely worked and the bathroom tap pressure was dire. Food was decent but service was very slow and we all received our meals at different times. The lager was off when we arrived Saturday lunchtime and the Guinness tasted bitter. Pretty old fashioned hotel in need of major refurbishment

Everything just seems a bit weary in this hotel with a lot of repairs needed. Rooms are uninviting and some just have skylights which you can't black out.. Decent breakfast. Staff were friendly enough but just a poor atmosphere in the place.

Clean, tidy and excellent location. Plenty of (free) off site parking. Breakfast - selection of continental with the option of a cooked breakfast. Miscommunication over breakfast times was our only issue. Enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.
