Worst experience ever as the owner and her family harassed and threatened me and my family on a small room issue that we complained. Rooms are so noisy atta he to each other that if you walk on room floor you can feel in other room. And specially if you have kids don’t recommend. Very weird and rude behaviour of the owner if you talk to them. Non cooperative . NO recommendation … full stop

This hotel is reasonably priced but our room was in need of some work. There were cobwebs on the bathroom light, the roll of toilet paper was sitting on the back of the toilet tank as there was no horizontal bar on the holder. The eat pump in the wall rattled all night long. These are small things but still should be addressed for the start of any tourist season. Rooms should be checked and cleaned and in tip-top shape, no matter what the price.

I made an unplanned stop here on a solo roadtrip across Nova Scotia. It was by far one of the best values for money of all the places I stayed. My room was only $105 USD and it was perfectly tidy and recently updated. The manager was very kind. She gave me some good dining recommendations and allowed me to stay an hour past checkout so that I could do a video call for work. The restaurant beside the property was closed for the night, but had it been open, I would have loved to try it. The beach is within walking distance and there are many others in Port Hood that are just a short drive away.

The reviews were pretty good but now, I think it must be relatives of the owners who wrote up the good reviews LOLThe room looked OK at first, only dropped the luggage off and went off to supper. Came back to room and noticed no towel bar to hang up towel, no extra toilet paper, only what was left on the roll. Barely any kleenex in the box, maybe 10 tissues. I wore socks, so I didn't know till I went to take a shower that my new socks were filthy from the floors. Where the shower corner met the floor, it was gross, dirty, the shower looked like black (mold??) in the joints of the shower stall. The bathroom and the room had a urine smell. Time for bed (11:30pm), pulled back the covers and there were some streaks on the bottome sheets that looked like blood! Showed the owner/manager? the pictures I took of the filth, he made a face, shook his head and walked away. Unless you are desperate, I would stay away from this place!

Very nice, clean , quiet place, right by the ocean Booking .con billed us for 8 people instead of 4 The staff fixed all on the spot without hesitation Has tv, fridge, microwave Staff was friendly, helpful. Very pleasant , answered all questions and concerns Highly recommended Nice scenery around, Definitely will come back
