We stayed at the Premier River Ness before and after a three-day tour of the North Coast 500. The hotel has an excellent location which is an easy walk from the train station or to the Cathedral which is the start / end point for many bus tours. The staff was exceptional. They were happy to hold our excess luggage while we were on our tour. The food & beverage department does a great job, which is unusual for many mid-priced hotels. The room was extremely comfortable. The room was very comfortable. Bedding, towels, bath facilities were all very good and well maintained.

Generally acceptable and clean hotel. However, I was almost tricked by being given a room that’s “HALF-CUT” by the rooftop. Essentially an attic (picture 1) at first.
There are actually plenty of normal empty rooms being cleaned as I could see walking to the elevator.
I asked the front desk if I could be re-arranged and they gave me another room.
Pretty bad experience as I felt discriminated and tricked for unknown reason. I asked a fellow customer who checked in around the same day and he didn’t get allocated the attic room.

Friendly and efficient staff. Room was large and comfortable. Decor perhaps a little tired but we e were lucky enough to have a river view. Breakfast very nice but not such a fan of the tick box menu. The time it takes for staff to explain, check and make any amendments could be spent just taking order. I can understand that it is more convenient for the wait staff though in busy periods or with large groups.

One of the best hotels is stayed during my visit for a wedding. The welcome was very warm and the room was spotless. The staff were very helpful and kind. A special thanks for the receptionist/housekeeper who checked me in and the breakfast waitress, since they both made feel at home and very safe (as I was a solo traveler). Very close to the city center as well, only 10' on foot.
If whisky's got a place in your heart, stay in the heart of whisky country, at the Premier Inn Hotel Inverness Centre (Millburn Road), located in the grounds of a historic distillery. You'll also be well placed for all the main tourist attractions and transport links. Welcome to one of Scotland's seven cities, where there are countless things to do. Keep your eyes peeled for Nessie on a tour of the loch, or keep on rocking at Belladrum Festival. Step out onto the Malt Whisky Trail for some oak-smoked tastes, or see the 'Smoking Falls' at the Falls of Foyers. Then come back to a warm welcome, with tasty food in our restaurant and a comfy bed in your room.

Quick and easy check in, Separate buildings for rooms ,stayed in a standard room number 308 for four nights. typical Premier room clean and spacious, beds comfortable, you have to close the secondary glazing on a night time or you can hear the main road and trains, but when closed it was fine with no noise. Mainly business and work contractors using the hotel when we were there. Plenty of good selection both hot and cold, food in the hotel restaurant was nice and a good selection at a reasonable price. The only negative is that you have to ask at reception if you require your room cleaned. A fifteen to twenty straight road walk to Inverness town centre, train station and shops again 15 to twenty minutes walk away.

A previous reviewer was really down on the King's Club which is a newer adjunct to the older Kingsmill Hotel where the main dining room and bar are located. I'm not sure if we could both be reviewing the same place. First of all I found the staff very helpful and nor clueless as suggested. The rooms are quite nice and I really enjoyed the outdoor patio with the Inverness golf course only a few feet away. Watching and chatting with passing golfers and dog walkers was a bonus. The room was spacious with a very nice bathroom which had a separate bathtub & shower. The breakfast buffet was quite nice if not over the top and the fruit was not old as suggested and the eggs were not disgusting. In fact they were presented exactly as at the Gleneagles resort which is definitely five star. It was an easy fifteen minute walk into the heart of Inverness. Overall I would certainly recommend the King's Club.

We had an amazing experience at Ness Walk Hotel. Thank you to Kevin and the team for looking after us so well. The food was excellent & service was 5 star. The hotel itself is finished to a very high standard and the rooms are luxurious. We will definitely be returning. All the extra touches like champagne on arrival made it very special. The staff can’t do enough for you.

Good breakfast, very helpful front desk staff, good beds and pillows, bathroom small but efficient. Toiletries minimal, but workable. Broken light fixed quickly. But the overriding issue was noise from neighbours, primarily due to thin walls. TV from one side early in the morning, and late night conversation on the other side. I don’t think they were unreasonable— just the sound insulation was poor.

Excellent
GGuest UserConvenient and very close to the airport. It's just a few minutes away. It's so convenient to catch a flight in the morning. My mother doesn't have to worry about me anymore. It's a bit far from the train station. It's a new hotel.
GGuest UserExcellent hostel! Great common self-catering facilities; there were two full kitchens with plenty of tables and seating so multiple parties could be cooking at a time. Staff were very helpful and let me leave my bag before check-in and after check-out to accommodate my bus times.
The room (4-bunk female dorm) was very spacious so plenty of room for sorting through my bags. Bunk was large and included a USB plug and power outlet there. Room had large attached shower and toilet rooms.
We just had our wedding at Lochardil House and it was fantastic. Rebekah and her brilliant team made our day with their excellent customer service . The food, facilities, garden, breakfast and room were excellent. The little details made it extra special. The delightful Highland coffee in the room was so good. The room was beautiful, comfy and sparkling clean, truly a wonderful place. Best day ever.
GGuest UserWe visited inverness for a short time and we honestly couldn’t of had an easier accommodation experience, the staff are very friendly and attentive to your every need, when we first arrived they upgraded our room for free and let us check in early further more when we wanted breakfast in the morning it only cost us £10 a head and they offer a wide range of breakfast options, when we checked out they also let us keep our bags at the house whilst we spent our last few hours exploring the city. Highly recommend, priced well too.
Kkross1709Having paid in excess of £800 for two nights I expected better service. It is impossible to get any hot room service after 7pm which is bizzare and late night arrivals or business travellers need to know this. The lounge menu and room service menu is the same thing. At 6:15 we went to the lounge and wanted something light for dinner but was told were we not allowed to order from the lounge menu at that time of night. However not quite being 7pm it meant we could still order a hot sandwich from room service. Couldn’t quite get my head around this. So they were still willing to make a hot sandwich, put it on a tray, carry it through the lounge where we were sitting, take it up two flights of stairs to our room, but not willing to deliver one to us in the lounge. Bizzare attitude from a very expensive hotel. Seems to be engineered to force everyone wanting any kind of hot food between 6pm and 7pm you have to be confined to room service and anything after that time it’s the restaurant only at the appropriate price. There is no movement on the rules. Hotel certainly lacking in going that “extra mile” for the prices being charged.
JJINGYUNThe hotel is just off the Loch Ness. You can see the scenery of Loch Ness from the window and cross the road to the Loch Ness Cruise Terminal. It’s just that we arrived late and the cruise has closed. Although the check-in was a little problem and it took a long time, the final solution was satisfactory.
YYONGJust next to the Loch Ness Exhibition Hall, the parking space in the exhibition hall is the parking space of the hotel. Just stop and don't need money. You can park your car next to the hotel after 6pm. In fact, this is a motel, the room is upstairs (feeling is 2nd floor and a half, big luggage is hard to move, more fitness), no elevator, the room is large, there is a small bed, it is suitable for a family of three. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and breakfast is available at the first floor for breakfast. There is dinner on the 2nd floor, the price is cheap, the taste is ok.
GGuest UserOk so it’s a hostel ! But in this day and age i expect it to be cleaned between the different parties staying here ! It’s more than just the bedding needs changed and cleaned regularly ! Ok guests please keep the kitchen clean and tidy well it didn’t happen and the mould in the fridge and the general cleanliness of shared areas left a lot to be desired !! Sorry regardless of it being our responsibility when clearly it’s not being done staff should be ensuring health and safety is paramount especially given the current climate We cleaned up after ourselves but unless we went in with scrubbers, bleach and steam cleaners it would take days to clean up the mess that was the kitchen I was in a room two singles and a double and not enough room leftover to swing a cat never mind put all our gear bags etc we were literally on top of each other There’s no shared sitting room or anywhere other than the kitchen to relax, converse or do anything really ! The bathroom was ok apart from the bath panel Hanging off oh and the mould around the bath/shower but it was hot !
