Allan and Sheila have done a wonderful job setting up and maintaining a truly charming location. Though the narrow access road makes it a bit tricky to find—there’s limited space for signage—once you reach the gate, a large sign clearly marks the entrance. The property is spotless and beautifully blends modern amenities with the character of a traditional house. Surrounded by peaceful greenery and trees, it feels like a little slice of heaven. Parking is available in the courtyard, conveniently close to the rooms. Breakfast is tasty, though the ordering process could be simplified—currently, each guest must fill out a form to select their menu. I’m confident Allan and Sheila will find a way to make this more user-friendly and paperless. One small regret was discovering too late that dinner was available. This wasn’t clearly communicated on the booking site or promoted during our stay. All in all, it was a delightful experience. If I return to Scotland, I’ll certainly do my best to stay here again.

Perfect….. Everything had been thought of and nothing was too much trouble. You will need to have a car but it’s worth the drive. Alan and Sheila were the perfect hosts . Our room had everything we could need and was so comfortable. Great shower, 2 suitcase stands (that never happens!) ironing board, hairdryer, heated towel rail, fans …. The list goes on. When you receive the request for your breakfast choices, it may seem complicated but just let your hosts know what you would like. You need to appreciate that they live a long way from shops and have to order well in advance. Breakfast was fabulous…. The best we’ve had in Scotland. A wonderful experience (and I don’t like BNBs)

Very well appointed rooms in a quiet location; Delightful hosts with excellent breakfast. Approximately 1hr away from Skye Bridge; Good base station to cover Ft William/Glencoe/Loch Ness/Broadford. Day trip to Skye is doable. Only challenge is the limited access to restaurants/food outlets for dinner.

My cousin and I had just returned from a tour of the Hebrides and needed to stay overnight before heading back to Glasgow. We found this place to be an oasis of calm, we were treated to first class hospitality and the breakfast was outstanding. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we required. The hosts went above and beyond to meet our requests. We left very satisfied customers!

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Though the ordering of breakfast was a bit complicated, it was worth it. So delicious. The homemade yogurt and berry jam was to die for. The rooms were large, cleam and well maintained. The pillows were sink-into comfy
