This Bed and Breakfast is lovely. I like the neighborhood; I love the owner! She was friendly but not intrusive. We were stuck on Inverness an extra night because a storm prevented us from leaving for the Isle of Lewis. She not allowed let us stay, she rearranged rooms so we could stay in the same room. I hightly recommend this Bed and Breakfast if you are visiting Inverness.

Excellent place to stay with our host Andrea. The twin room was lovely and warm with extremely cumfy beds. We both slept very well as the local area is very quiet. The breakfast was wonderful too with butchers bacon and a good selection of continental items

The guest house is in a nice neighborhood with off-street parking. The breakfast was excellent and the host knowledgeable. Very clean. Great room. Easy walk into downtown Inverness and restaurants and shops. We visited the Culloden Battlefield--there is a great museum there and tours. Very interesting even if you aren't an Outlander fan. We also went to the Clava Cairns, which is also really interesting.

Recently stayed at Ardmeanach House in Inverness and had a wonderful time. Its close proximity to central Inverness make it an outstanding location. The host is, in a simple word, AMAZING. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. However, what makes Ardmeanach House so amazing is the hostess. She is amazing. Her guidance on restaurants was impeccable. She also guided us to laundry facilities down the street. During our trip, excessive rain stopped all train travel on the day we were to leave to head south. She alerted us to this fact as soon as we went to breakfast, allowed us to use her personal phone to make alternative travel arrangements, and because of the rain and the short time before our bus left, kindly drove my wife and I to the bus station. Hospitality without exception. She is also an amateur genealogist and helped my wife with researching some of her ancestors and provided guidance on other data sources so she can continue on her own. She is one in a million. Thank-you for a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay at Ardmeanach House. It has private off-street parking and is only a short walk to restaurants and stores. We were greeted by Andrea and shown our rooms and told where to go for a Sunday dinner. We really appreciated the help, because many restaurants were closed. The next day she arranged two more dinner reservations for us, one in town and one near Loch Ness. Both were great pubs and we enjoyed our food. Our room was the Thistle Room on the first floor and though it is small, it was perfect for us and we appreciated being on the first floor. Our other couple was in the Yellow Room upstairs and they loved their large room after having been in a cramped in the car all day. Breakfast was in their pretty parlor with the gorgeous historic fireplace. We were offered a nice menu to chose from plus plenty of things off the buffet. The guys really loved the waffles which came with either bacon or a fruit topping. I finally got to try porridge and really liked it. I expected it to be like oatmeal, but instead it was nutty and creamy and delicious. As we were leaving to head on to the Isle of Skye, Andrea was very good to give us some restaurant recommendations and advised us to make reservations which we did on our drive. So glad she had told us to do so, because everything was full by the time we got there. I recommend Ardmeanach for your visit to Inverness.

From the minute I arrived at this beautiful stylish building I was impressed. Parking was easy within the grounds and I was met at the door by the landlady who was extremely helpful and friendly. The room itself was extremely spacious with an suite the same size as my bathroom back home so that was great. Breakfast was delicious l, wifi easily available, and my room was fantastic, I really can’t recommend this very classy guest house enough. Top marks all round from comfort to hygiene, professionalism, friendly and fantastic rooms in a very grand and typically Scottish country manor.
