The home is set back about 100 feet from the street with a large garden in the front which has a fig, citrus trees, cucumbers, tomatoes, flowers, beans and squash.About The space:The kitchen has everything you need if you are passionate about cooking, and a microwave if you aren't! A washer and dryer stocked with cleaning supplies, gigabit fiber internet with strong WiFi over the entire property, smart TV with Youtube TV and Youtube Premium ( bring your own Netflix, Hulu, etc.) and almost everything else I could think of to make you feel at home and comfortable including AC and central heat.This is a split level flat with the bedrooms upstairs. There are ten steps to enter and another fifteen steps to get upstairs where the master suite is located. The queen sized mattress is from European Sleepworks and is the Alpine Classic. The full sized sofa bed is by American Leather (but is not a leather couch,) two very high quality and comfortable mattresses. The linens are cotton and the comforters are down.The bedrooms are separated by French doors with an additional sound/light blocking curtain that you can pull closed. I think my space is cozy, relatively quiet and very relaxing.I really did try to think of every desirable convenience so please let me know what I'm missing in your home away from home.Now outside, on a warm sunny day I think you would enjoy sitting outside behind the gate inconspicuously watching the neighborhood traffic pass by. People walking, jogging or bike riding to the nearby Park, Dry Cleaners, Laundromat, Whole Foods Market, Berkeley Bowl organic food store and a host of other quirky storefront places that are sprinkled throughout the neighborhood. Including the tailor shop and men's clothing store right next. door. Right on the corner there is a Subway Sandwich Shop, an awesome Gourmet Pizza / Bakery, a Corner Convenience Store too.Guest accessGuest have access to everything behind the gate with the exception of one cabinet in the kitchen I use for storage.Other things to noteThe space is newly remodeled. Everything has been updated except for the cold tile floors. With that said you maybe the first to use something so your feed back sent directly to me would be helpful so I can make the necessary adjustments for the next guest.Regarding the gate I am aware that coming in and out can be cumbersome especially with bags in hand. Open both wooden gates inward all the way to make it easier to get in and out of the security door. The security door must be shut to close the wooden gate doors. I extended the gate as far out onto the sidewalk as the property line would allow me to in in order to provide separation and security.
