Take the Queens Highway Trail cut out and ski directly back to the condo down a regularly groomed path and through the glade to the back deck. Walk, not drive, to the Pump House Indoor Water park, the restaurants at Hotel Jay, Taiga Spa, or the Ice Haus Skating Center. Feel free to take the free resort shuttle if your legs are burning from Jet laps.The condo boasts a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator, granite countertops, microwave, coffee maker, waffle iron, panini press, blender, and all the utensils and accessories for cooking your family meals or whipping up a drink (hot cocoa too). This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the Journeys End building was the final development completed at Jay Peak and is one of the largest 2br units on property. The condo features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a large living room with an oversized sectional couch, a king master bedroom with a private bathroom, an additional bedroom with twin over full bunks and a trundle that comfortably sleeps 4, a gas fireplace, a full size dining room table for your family’s meals, radiant floor heating, and a full size washer and dryer. Breakfast bar seating let’s you enjoy coffee, a quick snack, a 10,000 mg caffeine energy drink, or whatever protein you need before you seek the adrenaline rush of the best glades, steeps and powder in the east. For when your legs are shot, venture out to Vermonts largest indoor water park…or head over to the movie theater, climbing center, ice haus skating and hockey center, two arcades, restaurants, bars, live music or snow shoe adventures…all within a short walk or even shorter free shuttle ride. If you just came for the skiing/riding, Jay’s got that too with over 2000 vertical feet of cruisers, steeps and trees, all blanketed by the legendary jay cloud’s (yes it’s real) 350 plus inches of east coast leading natural snow per year. It's a great place for a getaway in Vermont, located less than 5 miles from Jay Peak Ski Resort. It's also close to mountain biking and hiking trails, as well as waterfalls. The house can sleep 8-10 people, making it perfect for families, groups, couples, and wedding-goers. The home is bright, clean, and surrounded by Vermont nature. It sits on an acre of land with manicured gardens. It has all the comforts you need for a great getaway, including air conditioning, heated floors in the bathrooms, and a soaking tub. The house is owned by a local couple and their 4 children who rent it out to support their mountain life. The home is designed to be relaxing and stress-free, with a private driveway and plenty of space for parking. When you arrive, you'll see a large covered porch and a spacious entrance with hooks and storage space for your gear.A new gas heater in the front entrance dries your gear and keeps the house comfortable. The first floor has an open layout with a fully equipped kitchen. It features a farmhouse sink, gas stove, fridge, and utensils. The living room has lots of windows, a gas fireplace, and a 46" smart TV. The dining area has large windows and sliding doors that open to the covered back porch. Inside, there is a dining room with a table for 8 people. An indoor hot tub room overlooks the gardens and fits 5 adults comfortably. There is also a bedroom with a queen size bed. All beds are extremely comfortable with high quality sheets and pillows.There is a new washer and dryer on the first floor, along with a custom bathroom that has two shower heads and a concrete sink. Upstairs is a big master bedroom with a king size Tempurpedic mattress, as well as a new master bathroom with heated floors and two rainshower heads. The master bedroom also has sliding doors that open to a deck with outdoor seating and views of Jay Peak and the mountains. Another living room is upstairs with a large couch that turns into a queen bed for extra sleeping space. There is also a second office desk with sliding doors to the upstairs deck. This living room has a pellet stove that keeps the upstairs warm in the winter. It is a great space for families with children, someone who wants some quiet time, or as a second office for people working from home. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms with queen beds on custom barn wood bed frames. One room has sliding doors to the deck and the other has large windows overlooking the gardens, sandbox, and playhouse on over an acre of land.Our 4 bedrooms have furniture, storage, and hooks for your convenience. There's a renovated bathroom with a big tub and towels. Each room has blinds and curtains for privacy. We have been renting our home for 11 years and have received great reviews.
