"Beautiful place, very beautiful beach, can swim, newly opened accommodation, many management still need to be improved, such as the amount of breakfast, drinks during long holidays are not enough for guests, the hotel tries to manage the situation well, but customers have to wait a bit.
If you focus on a survival atmosphere, it is okay.
Cleanliness is okay, bathroom, shower room should have shoes for customers to change into.
The tent is cleaned every day and you can ask for new towels every day."

"a-na-lay has a great location, a great clean beach, good opportunities for snorkeling (from the beach). Breakfast was very good, as was the food.
We had a bungalow with a garden view -- forgettable. Not recommended. No closet, no coat hangers. We lived out of the travel bag, which was on the floor.
Flashlight required for the last 10 m!!"

"Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We chose this hotel because we liked its location - close to Bang Bao Beach, but at an affordable price. For ease of movement around the island, the hotel staff offered us a good motorbike without any deposit. The owner of the hotel, Jay, is generally a very attentive and welcoming host, ready to help with any issue. He told us about interesting places on the island that are worth visiting, where to eat, and even where is the best place on the island to watch the sunset. At our request, Jay arranged our return transfer to Bangkok via speedboat and private comfortable car. The room we lived in was large, very bright and stylishly decorated. The bed is large, with a comfortable mattress, plenty of pillows and snow-white bed linen. The air conditioner is modern, not noisy, and quickly cooled a fairly large room. From the room there is access to a small terrace with a tea table and a view of the garden, there is a clothes dryer. The room has a modern TV with smart TV function and Internet access. The bathroom is spacious, the instantaneous water heater worked well, and there are personal hygiene items. Beach towels and a mat are provided for guests to relax on the beach. Upon check-in, guests will receive a compliment from the hotel. We had a great time at the hotel and would love to come back again, Thanks Jay 🙏"

"This hotel is perfect for this island. Everything was beautiful. We had a slight hiccup at the check-in, but manager Vince settled the issue in a very professional way. He was kind and he listened and acted accordingly. I really appreciated that.
They do have the best bar in the island with the most attentive bartenders. The drinks was so pretty and delicious. I strongly recommend this hotel I know I will come back."

"This resort is really fantastic!
It's a shame that I only booked 3 nights.
The bungalows are simple, but nicely furnished and, above all, absolutely clean! The bathroom is nicely decorated, with a mix of different materials.
The air conditioning worked well and was not loud at all (as others have written).
The highlight here is the beautiful palm garden, which is looked after daily by the staff.
The beach is also very nice and clean. Depending on the tide, the beach is wider or almost non-existent (at very high tide). At high tide you can swim almost from the start, at low tide you have to walk a little outside and keep your eyes open (there are some larger rocks/stones).
At breakfast you can choose what you want, and you can order several things. At best, fresh orange juice and whole grain toast could be offered (there is just white toast and normal orange juice).
The owner and the whole family are very nice and take very good care of the whole complex.
The dinner is also good, but for a change you can also go to one of the restaurants on the main street, these are also very good.
The location on the island is also good. You can quickly reach other beaches or one of the three waterfalls here on a scooter.
Definitely a place I would like to return to."

"Great hotel! Very beautiful area by the pool and the sea, especially incredibly beautiful in the evening. The prices in the restaurant are adequate, inexpensive and everything was delicious to us! Cocktails are also very good. Breakfast is quite poor, but there is something to eat. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Having swept around the island, we realized that this beach is the best) there are no shops and cafes near the hotel (it takes about 15 minutes to walk, probably). We always ate at the hotel. Rented bikes directly at the hotel for 300 baht/day. The bungalows, of course, are very interesting: they are made of wood, the audibility is very good, but this did not bother us. At night, it's fun to listen to the sounds of the jungle. Sometimes it was scary that someone would crawl into the house, as they wrote in the reviews, but we didn’t have any “guests” at all. We really liked everything. We will definitely come back here again!"

"Loved the beach it is on and the one which is walking distance to get to. The shower wasn’t the best but it was acceptable. The only thing that would possibly put me off staying again is the sandy track from the road down to the hotel which is over 1k and very awkward on a scooter."

"I can't call this place a hostel, because many hotels are much worse. This hotel is part of the island's hotel chain (Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Wendy's, Tenkerbell). And it left the most pleasant impressions: fresh renovation, everything in the room is thought out to the smallest detail, a beautiful beach is 3 minutes' walk away. It is located in a picturesque place near the river, there are shops, an exchange office and several cafes nearby, on the territory of the hotel itself there is a separate room with a microwave, toaster, dishes, as well as unlimited freshly brewed coffee, cocoa, tea, ice, in the mornings they serve breakfast of your choice in containers. Very nice girl at the reception with a cat. We will definitely come back."

CCunA very perfect resort, the hotel is in an excellent location, I like the villa design and decoration style, the important thing is to pay attention to details and quality, of course, environmental protection considerations; the staff is very friendly, and introduces the hotel facilities to guests when checking in. The beach is also perfect, and I want to rest and enjoy the beach and sunshine every day; the holiday home has its own dedicated swimming pool, and the bedroom and bathroom are designed and decorated to make the guests comfortable; the SPA service provided by the hotel is more expensive, but it is also enjoyable. There is a desire to sleep in the soothing music, and the technicians have high professional skills; the breakfast is very good. It happened to encounter a free kayaking activity. Since it was the first time to experience this sport, I started to adapt a little, but I soon became proficient. The staff led in front and was very responsible. The experience of this process was very good; the breakfast dining environment was comfortable, and you could also enjoy the beach view while eating breakfast; after checking out, the hotel car and service staff sent you to the pier of the island. GGuest UserStarting with the positives, Tolani resort has really friendly staff who bent over backwards to make your stay pleasant. It also has beautiful rooms our bungalow was clean and comfortable with good aircon and a very comfortable bed. It gave a feeling of luxury though the water pressure in the shower was really bad. It’s outside of the rooms that this resort falls flat.
Tolani is positioning itself as a luxury resort and with a high price point to match but for the money it doesn’t deliver. The resort is supposedly on the beach but in reality the beach is not easily accessible from the resort. You can climb over rocks and swim over to the beach but it’s not easy. This means you will not have any sun loungers on the beach which can be an issue as the pool area is very small with only a handful of beds there. It’s also what you want from a beach front resort.
The food at the resort including breakfast is very poor but very expensive. Thankfully there are great restaurants nearby but we didn’t have a single good meal here. Drinks and food are massively overpriced for the island too.
We also had a poor experience at checkout. We had given our scooter back to the hire place but needed to head to the shops and so my wife asked if it was possible to get a taxi. A kind member of staff offered to run her up the road quickly in their car which we assumed was just a kind gesture. On checkout they charged us 15 euros for this trip. That’s an outrageous price for a 5 minute ride down the road but it also wasn’t communicated to us that we would be charged at the time as we wouldn’t have agreed. When we challenged this they told us we had to pay. It left a really bad taste in the mouth and it showcased this place is mainly looking to make money off its guests and not about creating a good experience.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here because there are better resorts for the price point and the food and facilities are both sorely lacking. The lovely staff are not enough to save the price gouging happening here.

PPockatmzEvery time I come to Koh Kood, I stay at only the Captain Hook resorts. This time I brought my elders with me. I couldn't book in time, so there was only Captain Hook, a pool suit room left. I usually come on weekdays, but this time I came during the New Year period. The weather was great, the sea was clear, and diving around the resort was the end. There were a lot of fish, medium, and large. The accommodation is suitable for those who like peace and quiet. There is no beach in front of the resort, but you have to kayak across, less than 50 meters.

KKrisDThere aren't many options on the island to accommodate a large family in one place, and this house was a great choice for us. The villa accommodated our entire large family, and although the bungalows are quite simply equipped, the area around is simply stunning - green, well-kept and cozy. The hotel is located on one of the best beaches on the island, next to which there is all the necessary infrastructure. A great place for those who are looking for accommodation for a large group and do not require too many sophisticated amenities, but appreciate nature and location!

VVenti.JWe stayed at Bunyagard for a week in February. There are 8 cozy bungalows (2 rows of 4), each with a charming feel.
Free water, tea, and coffee available around the clock.
Simple but delicious breakfast buffet.
The rooms are small, but we knew that in advance. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious!
Walls are thin, which wasn’t a big of a deal. There’s been only one night with a fighting couple (hope they sorted it out by now). All other nights were peaceful.
The backyard landscaping is beautiful and really well maintained — a little green paradise!
There’s a shortcut through another resort to the beach — just ignore the “No Trespassing” signs and be respectful by picking up after yourself (the staff told us that as long as visitors keep the beach clean, the resorts don’t mind).
Super friendly staff who helped us with heavy luggage and arranging ferry taxis.
To dry our clothes we hang a line outside of our room and it wasn’t until checkout that we noticed the staff adjusted our amateur knots with some really professional knots. THANK YOU Bunyagard (next time you need to teach us)!
One lady is fluent in English. And with google translator we’ve been able to communicate with all the staff. Where there’s a will, there’s a way ;)

EElenaThe nice hotel consists of one building and separate villas on a private beach, where there are no other hotels, there is a swimming pool (although they wrote that it was under renovation, but it worked), buffet breakfast, there are enough dishes, there is another restaurant on the beach , but didn’t go there. The room was on the third floor of the main building with a jacuzzi on the balcony, but it didn’t work, they used it as a mini pool, there was a problem with Wi-Fi, the speed was low and kept disconnecting, overall not bad.

The food is ok: fried eggs, sausages, meat, sometimes noodles, vegetables, fruits, waffles, bread, tea, coffee, juice. You won't go hungry!)) The location is good. We didn't have a moped, so we walked to the nearest beaches, and there are 4 of them. We went to distant beaches by taxi for 100 baht per person. I recommend it, it's a good hotel.

The advantages include:
1. Clean rooms and bed linen
2. No insects or other living creatures in the rooms.
3. A really good view - double bungalows are located in the first row right by the sea, the beauty is indescribable!
4. The beach. Yes, this is the southernmost beach and it is quite far from the main infrastructure of the island. But it is simply beautiful! Apart from the Secret AWD Beach, this is the best on the island. Shallow entrance to the sea, the cleanest, literally transparent water, soft sand without stones which is pleasant to walk on! On the pier you can take ”Instagram” photos and admire the fish that literally swim here in schools.
5. The breakfasts were good.
6. The family atmosphere of the hotel. Everything is very cozy here. The hostess cooks in the kitchen herself, she strives to help you. We came to the island directly from Cambodia, without having time to change money, the banks were closed that day, so the owner changed our money herself at a good rate. The other guests are also very nice people, and if you know English, you can make new acquaintances. For example, our neighbor in the bungalow, as it turned out, came to this hotel for the tenth time, and I understand why.
7. Well, in general, the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. When you sit in the bar, you get the impression that you ended up in one of the films of the 80-90s about adventures in hot countries or in a video of the band La ketchup. Very atmospheric.
The disadvantages are minor, but they still need to be mentioned:
1. Upon check-in, we discovered that one towel, apparently, was forgotten to be washed. It is strange that no one noticed this, because it smelled strongly of sweat.

3. Still, you need to understand that the conditions in the bungalow are quite Spartan. Our bungalow did not have a refrigerator (there are in the rooms on the second line), nor a kettle (hot water was in the bar). The room is no frills. The shower is very simple next to the toilet and in general the bathroom already needs renovation. But the price of the hotel is the lowest of all the hotels on the island (those near the beach).
