"Hotel location is good. It's near changi airport and it's right beside changi city point mall. The room is clean and well maintained. Pillows could be better though.
During check In, we were told that the hotel will have a shutdown from 12am to 4am and if we would like to proceed with the check in. (We were reluctant to proceed as wife is pregnant and we already planned this for our birthday celebration). Hotel admin could've told us earlier regarding this annual shutdown (no electricity, Aircon, ventilation etc) but they mentioned that the annual shutdown was a ”last minute plan”, which was questionable.
We decided to proceed as we had already travelled to the hotel and hotel gave us late check out at 2pm. The next day after 12pm, hotel personnel asked/called me a total of 3 times to ask what time I am checking out and asked if I am extending my stay. Apparently, the staff did not update our late check out in their system. This could be improved on their side instead of disturbing the guest."
