"The property is beautiful. The staff is amazing. The room overlooking the water with jacuzzi was amazing. The only restaurant on property was barely mediocre. We ate there the first night because we arrived late but didn’t do dinner there again. We ate the included breakfast because they had fruit. But the breakfast was mediocre as well. Their one and only bar was empty the entire time. They only played 90’s and 2000’s R&B. The drinks were bad too. Overall it was an amazing stay but they need to step up their one and only restaurant on property."

"Our stay at E L Westensee Resort exceeded all our expectations! This place is ideal for those who are looking for a combination of coziness, comfort and excellent service.
Our villa was simply magnificent: spacious, stylish and very cozy. Snow-white bed linen and impeccable cleanliness created a feeling of real luxury.
The hotel staff are real professionals! Very responsive, sincere and always ready to help. When we decided to rent a bike, it was delivered right to the hotel - new, powerful, for only 500 pesos per day. It was incredibly convenient for trips to Alon Beach (only 7 km) and to local attractions.
I would like to separately note the breakfasts. The food was delicious, fresh and prepared with love. A real pleasure to start the day with such dishes!
We were pleased with the proximity to the street with cafes and restaurants - literally a few minutes walk. This allowed us to try many local dishes and not depend on transport.
Special thanks for organizing an early breakfast before our departure - everything was ready at 5:30, and the transfer to the airport was waiting for us on time.

"We had the most amazing stay here at the Secret Garden Resort. We stayed in a lodge with private pool which was perfect. Nothing is overly fancy but everything is perfectly functional.
Restaurant on site sells pasta and usual Philippino food. Breakfast is from a set menu, not a buffet. Perfectly fine.
Staff were friendly, helpful and just a whatsapp message away if you needed anything.
Not too far from Alona Beach, the airport or Tagbilaran Port so it was the perfect location for us.
We were honestly sad to leave after 7 nights here and already want to come back!"

"our host was most delightful and this truely is a special place. This place is for the type of traveller that is wanting to emerse themselves in the visaya culture of the philipines. my plan was to spend just one night here and move on but between the peaceful serenity of this place and the amazing host Enid we ended up staying an extra three nights. we left early for an.island hopping tour and our host was up at 4.45 am to make us a lunchbox that we hadnt even requested. Bohol is still underdeveloped but that is the charm of an personality of this place. we rented a car and food outlets where in tagbilaran although there are some lovely local places that are on Panglao island just 5 minutes away. everyday spent at this resort was relaxing and charming. This area has suffered due to the pandemic and i woud encourage tourists to come back and especially to stay at sherwood resort . Thank you Enid and Ann for letting us have a resort of our own for a few days and the amazing hospitality"

"Great hotel! Clean and new! Would like to commend all the staffs who greeted us every time we enter the hotel or pass by the corridor. Great breakfast buffet as well! "I lived in a mixed gender dormitory this time, I don't know much about other room types. The mixed gender dormitory is still very good, and I feel very quiet. If my English is good, I can make many overseas friends. The hotel feels very quiet and welcoming. Although the pool is small, I still use it for a long time and hope that I can pass SSI Level 1!
I slowly started to like to travel, and slowly got used to travel alone. The hotel's Guest Book is especially heart-warming. Many tourists and friends have their best memories in Natura Vista. I hope the hotel will be better and welcome more and more overseas friends!"

"What an amazing find! Location is quiet with good rooms and lots to do there. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and the food is also excellent. The breakfast is nice and we had an early check out at 4am and they even left a breakfast for us to take without us asking which was a lovely touch! The shop is great with local gifts made on site and the coconut ice cream is so so so good (spicy ginger especially amazing)! The rooms are a great size and comfy with good AC. Hot water wasn’t great but after a day in the sun a colder shower was welcome. The only thing lacking here is a beach but there are drivers outside the farm to take you around or they can organise a trip/ scooter rental. In this price range, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Will definitely be back. Thank you"

"Hotel is right in front of the beach. Even tho there is not much to do in the beach, there are some interesting restaurants if you know how to find them. First hotel to have a toilet seat, tho the toilet still gets smelly. Breakfast included is okay, but appreciated. Staff is friendly.
Find your motorbike from elsewhere cause these ones are a bit too pricey.

The Owners are amazing, the staff is wonderful and friendly. There is a relaxing vibe there, bonus you will get free coffee, free breakfast, free water to start your day and there is a weekly Saturday bbq, you eat as much as you can and get to socialize..
I would strongly recommend it.. I loved it and hope to come back soon .

At night, you can hear the cows calling around. It is more original. The experience is recommended. The service at the front desk is friendly. The restaurant can order food. SSaThe rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities. Staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all needs were met promptly. I especially appreciated the peaceful environment, perfect for both relaxation and family stays.
The on-site dining options were great, offering a variety of food that can be customizable preferably to your food preferences (especially if you have food allergies). Their Chef is very considerate when I asked to just make a pork soup instead of Sinigang na Baboy from the menu due to my GERD. Breakfast had plenty of options and was a great way to start the day.
Overall, Noah's Ark Hotel is more than just a place to sleep — it's an experience in itself. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, this hotel offers a fun and cozy retreat that’s worth checking out.

VVanessa We were so happy with our 4 nights at Bohol Shores. We loved the pool. It was nice and spacious for my girls to swim around in. The pool villa was also very nice and we loved the shallow access to the pool. The shower pressure and temperature wasn’t great at first but when we requested repair, they efficiently replaced the nozzle to make a larger spout and also made the temperature much hotter. So we were very impressed with their proactive approach to make us happy. All the staff are so kind and friendly and accommodating and helped us book drivers etc. It’s a short walk to the ocean but it’s rocky not very beach like but had amazing sea life like hermit crabs and interesting shells which we didn’t see as much at the beaches. Then the hotel arranged a 10 min Tuk Tuk where we went to Dumaluan beach and enjoyed a family beach day. We entered Dumaluan through the Dumaluan beach resort (100 pesos per person). In my opinion Dumaluan beach is much better than Alona beach. More space to swim and less crowded. The location is also walking distance to the Bohol Bee Farm which we enjoyed eating lunch at. All in all, we are very happy with this resort and would recommend it!

GGuest UserThe location is a bit remote, so be careful when you come out at night, but the store finds her relatives to drive back to pick us up. It is quite convenient. You can rent the store’s motorbike around the island, which is very fun. The hotel is close to the sea. In the morning, you can catch a lot of marine life. Breakfast is included. Although it is not delicious, the breakfast in the Philippines is not very good. It’s primitive and beautiful inside. We don’t want to go out anymore. Personally, I think it’s more beautiful than Alona’s beach. There are too many people there, so it’s not quiet here. However, the network is not good here, and the signal has to be better by the pool. There is also a small shop where you can buy snacks and drinks, and you can also have dinner here.

SSunny120608The waiters are very good and the food in the restaurant is very good and very fine. The environment is comfortable and can be said to be a sea-view room. The waiter cleans up the room every day. But the location is mid-level, relatively remote, typhoon is coming, many flying insects, get up in the morning, the ants in one place are very scary, and there are ants in the room.

front office didn’t mention about extra amenities in the hotel like a live band in the evening or fireworks by the beach; we also missed to ask
though premises has a very well manicured garden especially the green sprawling grass, the parking space is very limited to about 20 vehicles or less
towels look shabby and off-white already, needing replacement
in fairness, ala carte food is well prepared and tasty, though the complimentary buffet breakfast is just average sausage, fish, pork and eggs
all in all, the Mexican/Mediterranean vibes of the place makes it unique from other resorts, especially that it has a Dino Park nestled around the well kept trees and gardens
