"It was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them.
For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering.
Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite.
Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor."

"There is a lot of space available in the room, beyond expectations. There is a small balcony with windows on three sides. You can see the street view when you open it, you can see the sea, the most beautiful street. The front desk service is great!"

"The hotel is located in the city center, and it is very convenient to go to various attractions or take buses and ferries. It is only a few minutes' walk away. The hotel room is very large, and slippers and toiletries are provided. The decoration is very good, and the service is also very good! The bed is turned down every day, and bottled water and chocolates are delivered. The breakfast is especially rich, and a different menu is provided every day, which is much better than the buffet breakfast!"

Rooms are air conditioned and feature a TV with 8 cable channels. They all feature a private bathroom, most with a bathtub. An iron is available upon request.
A varied buffet breakfast is available each morning and includes fresh fruit, ham, cheese, eggs and much more.
Valletta's main bus terminus is 5 minutes away by foot and has buses to Malta Airport. Sliema Ferry Terminal is a 5 minute drive away.
"We booked this hotel 1 night for around 150 euro with breakfast, relatively expensive for what we got. Maybe because it's long weekend there.
It's really good location. Classic old hotel but poor condition. Lifts are charming, small but still working. Our room is hidden in staircase area. We had windows with inner view - mean no view and a bit of sunlight. A/C is old but working (not too strong but it's ok) Beds were ok. Quite clean. And it's quiet to stay here.
Have refrigerator and 2 small water bottles.
Sockets in the room are UK type. But it havs 1 that work with my adapter (EU)
Bathroom were old and rusty. Small bathtub. Provided tubes of showergel , shampoo and small soap.
Old Way to do warm water, needs to mix hot and cold in right temperature to not burn you. And it's a bit stinks from those drain. Overall it's ok to think that we just 1 night stay here.
Breakfast room on the 5th floor, spectacular view of the harbour. Food were simple, bread, bacon, yogurt etc.
Staffs were nice, good service. It's super clean too.
It's a shame for location with so poor condition of the room."

"I strongly don't recommend people who drive to stay here. The hotel has no parking space, and the cooperative parking lot is more than 15 minutes' walk away. The hotel uses pictures and names to make itself look like a high-end hotel, but it is actually very ordinary. The staff's ability to handle problems is also average. When I called in advance to inquire about parking before booking, I didn't mention that the parking lot is far from the hotel, nor did I mention that there is an additional charge."

SserenalimxlThe best hotel of our trip!!! The staff are incredibly attentive and warm. Hot tub with a beautiful balcony in our room was a real treat. Breakfast was amazing, prosecco in the evening at rooftop bar with spectacular views. Very clean and comfortable stay. I could have stayed for a week! :)
Only downside was having to pay €2 to store luggage before room was ready.

RRekaI stayed 3 nights at the Gomerino. The hotel staff is absolutely fabulous. They help you in all you need instantly.
The staff is 5 star, very kind professionals. The view from the roof top terrace is exceptional, the best view in Valletta. The terrace is incredible.
Unfortunately the room is not reaching my expectations. It’s just very noisy. Every single foot step from above can be heard in your room. So at night and in the morning I felt very disturbed and uncomfortable because of this. I had to call reception several times to ask the above guest to keep it quiet at night. The room is very dark and just not for my taste. The bed was ok I asked a double bed but they supplied my with 2 single mattresses put together.
Thank you for the staff you were fabulous.

YYIYA***The hotel is beautifully decorated as shown in the picture. The front desk manager will then provide a welcome drink when receiving and will briefly explain the history of Malta. They will provide a map and introduce you to the nearby attractions worth watching.
The hotel is located in the center of Varata to the Bohol Street Cruise Terminal and is very convenient, and must be reached within 10 minutes. There is already a very lively street on the left hand side of the hotel for easy eating.
Breakfast is provided every day. It is a delicate little point and very distinctive. The minibar in the hotel room is reasonably priced and the price of a bottle of Coke is the same as the outside price. It only needs three euros and will not be overcharged.
There is a laundry room nearby within 2 minutes to get to the laundry. The rooftop swimming pool is similar to the picture. I personally feel that I can't swim but I can go in and soak ～ It's very comfortable and although the pool time is open from 7 am to 7 pm, it will be more flexible and can be reserved until 8 pm.
This hotel is very humane and the health is very good! It is very recommended that everyone, whether family or couple, can travel here. A well-located and humane hotel will make you fall in love with a city or country.
If I have the opportunity to come back to Malta, he will be my choice again.

The location was perfect for exploring Valletta, and the hotel itself was set in a stunning renovated building, with fantastic interior design features. The staff were so friendly, and willing to be flexible and helpful in any way they could. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good range of amenities. The breakfast was just right, and you could order what you wanted the day before, so it was very personalised. There is a coffee machine in the lounge, which was free to use all day, as well as at breakfast, which was a real highlight. I loved 19 Rooms, would highly recommend it, and will definitely be coming back!

GGuest UserValletta is small and the hotel's location is within a 10-minute walk of all Valletta attractions. There are a lot of delicious food around, and every meal is changed to eat without a meal. A continental buffet breakfast is served for breakfast, or an English breakfast can be ordered separately. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and helped us recommend a lot of attractions.

From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!!
Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure.
But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper.
Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

My room was very spacious, modern and comfortable. Appreciated all the extra toiletries and facilities in the room. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was a delight and much more bountiful than expected. I couldn't fault this hotel. Top marks to all the staff.

AAnonymous UserI seldom post a review for the hotels I stayed but my experience with Merlior Boutique hotel had left such an indelible experience that I must leave a good review. This strategically located hotel is very convenient as it’s along the main shopping district of Republic street but it is not noisy at all in our room. Very good and delicious Starbucks breakfast is provided if you select to have it included. Toiletries are from Loccitane which is impressive. Room is extremely comfortable and it’s just at the right temperature even when it’s winter time. Had really a lovely time staying at this incredible boutique hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone considering it when you visit Valletta.

CChloeC10The accommodation is a small studio apartment in an amazing location in the heart of Valletta. The self check-in worked well, in fact I didn't have to speak to anyone in my entire stay! The room was clean and the air conditioner and shower were great. On the down side, the bed was small and uncomfortable, and there is a lot of noise from the old and echoing stairwell. Despite that I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

JJoyce AyalaThis is very well located, they had a little closet to keep our bags until we checked in at 1500 and then we where also avail to use it after we checked out while we got breakfast before heading to the airport. The apartment had a small potable AC that tried its best but the Malta heat can be a lot, when we asked for a fan they where very quick. They responded super fast to any questions we had and spoke the language. I didn’t catch the female workers name but she was super sweet and accommodating. She said she was from Colombia . Overall I would stay here again but it’s definitely a place to crash in between activities. Keep your expectations low and you’ll enjoy it.
