"the room was small but very functional. very clean and all necessary amenities were supplied. water pressure in the shower was good. the tv worked fine, you can do chromecast and screen mirroring on it. we got a triple room. the bottom double bed was adjustable, it could move up for an upright position. very near the train station and main spots. the hotel recommends parking at q park which can be quite costly at 25 a night. we parked overnight (6pm-8am) at cadogan square carpark close by for just 5 a night, although the carpark does close at 9pm."

"Good location just in front of Buchanan Street and St.Enoch shopping area. Glasgow Centra Station is about 8 minutes walk and underground tune St. Enoch Station is 2 minutes walk. Convenient to go anyway.
Tesco and Lindl supermarkets are just about 2 to 3 minutes walk away, so you can buy something to cook in the apartment hotel if you wish. In-room Pantry are with microwave, kettle with dining wares, glasses etc. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer (pay separately £3+£3). Actual conditions are still new as per photos. It's also wonderful to walk along the river bank which is 1 block away from the hotel. There are pubs near the hotel but you can't hear the noise with window closed and air conditioning turned on.
We are 4 persons with 2 slept in the bedroom and the other 2 slept on sofa bed in the living room. Good stay and highly recommended."

"I booked this hotel for my business trip to Glasgow from China. My friend had warned me that a £100 hotel here would be roughly equivalent to a basic budget chain like Home Inn back home. My experience after checking in was decent. Overall, the cleanliness was good; the room had no strange smells and was very well-cleaned. The bed was also comfortable, and it was very quiet. The facilities, however, are a bit dated – not quite up to the standard I'm used to in China. They provided two complimentary bottles of water in the room; just bear in mind they won't be replenished, so don't drink them all too quickly. The front desk staff were alright; I simply gave my name to check in, and they didn't even ask for my passport, which was a bit surprising."

The hotel is in a fantastic location — very central and convenient for exploring the city, with everything within easy walking distance. The staff were consistently warm, professional, and welcoming, which really made the experience feel comfortable and enjoyable.
The only downside was that the air conditioning in my room wasn’t working properly, which made the room a bit stuffy at times. Aside from that, the facilities and service were excellent, and I’d happily stay here again."

"Pretty good! I was travelling with my mom and daughter. A taxi ride only cost us a few pounds to get there. We had originally planned to walk from Central Station, but it was raining that day, so we took a cab instead. I was very pleased the front desk arranged a connecting room for us. Afterwards, I went by foot and public transport to the Epilepsy Centre in Glasgow."

"The hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed
Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it.
Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch.
Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee."

"Friendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night.
Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern.
Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it.
I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive
Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management.

Only negative was city bottle recycling bins being filled by nearby reastaurants and then emptied by council dump truck at 3am on the night i stayed. Bad luck for me I guess. Mentioned it to reception and they are trying to address it with the council.

Upon arrival we received the best customer service from the most lovely and lively man behind the desk named Mohammad.
Incredibly easy to check in, he said he gave us a room with a great view of the city and the water - boy, he did!
Absolutely glorious view and the hotel room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and sky TV.
I wish we had read properly/known in advance that there was a sauna and steam room within the hotel as we would have come prepared.
We will be back again and be more prepared. Absolutely loved our stay.

GGuest UserThe location is quite good it is just 10mins walk to train station and bus station. The room is clean and big. Toilet is clean too. Morning breakfast buffet was marvelous. There were Scottish breakfast and cereal. Also, some coffee machine and food machines. However, you must notice that there is a night club next to it. It will be very annoying and and noisy if they have events (normally weekend). You will be annoyed until 4am.

Actually the kitchen food there was really good, however, it is not available after 20:00. Therefore, I had to go outside again for food after a long day for sightseeing. Therefore, I suggest the hotel can think about prolonging the kitchen time to let more people enjoy their food.

SSapphirexIbis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines.
HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.”
The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident.

CCKPanI have lived in Glasgow for over 50 years. This is my return visit to my home City. I was pleasantly surprised to find this R hotel recommended by Trip.com.
It's totally a new and interesting experience of staying in such a cool place. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The travellers I met these few days were all interesting people ranging from a elderly couple from Argentina, two French ladies, one Californian and mainland Chinese from QinDao. They all have exciting stories. I was fascinated in getting to know them in such a welcoming hotel setting.
I really enjoyed the new of staying over in a hustle and bustling city and found the Revolver a good hiding place not to mention the facilities provided on the roof top including sauna and spa. Excellent quiet and sunny place. I enjoyed my solitude up there!

GGuest UserUpon arrival, I was allowed to check in early by 30 minutes which I am thankful for. Upon. Entering, the door can't be open using the card (room 114). A staff needed to unscrew and replace a battery. The shower head can't be regulated to hot, only cold, yet the faucet can be regulated fully, and it can't even be close properly so I called someone to fix it late at night because I didn't want for the tub to overflow, and closing it requires a lot of strength specially for women like me. I told the receptionist (a man) that the room he gave me was giving me a lot of stress, and he seemed annoyed and said, ”whatever ” instead. A group of people with children arrived, and were noisy, and it can all.be heard inside the room. After midnight, since my room was facing the parking lot, a car alarmed ever so loudly for less than 2 minutes and it was a disrupted night. The the room was very clean but the amenities are bad which made my experience a nightmare. The breakfast served was a delight. The staff were very welcoming except for the man who checked me in.
