"In its presence Hongrui Hotel reminds me of the Grand Hotel Amrsth in Amsterdam. Different colour, different era but it comes at you in a similar way.
The staff are polite. One member of staff ran after me at 6..30 a.m. because I had forgotten my deposit. Another lady in the tourist office spoke excellent English and researched my ongoing transport without which I would given up my plan. She also found me a gluten free restaurant. The breakfast staff were professional. The bathroom could do with a bit of refurbishment. But the artistic foyer begs a greater enlivening patronage (though this may have been the off season)"

The waiters are warm and professional, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the hot water is sufficient. Overall cost-effective.
Disadvantages: The location is a bit biased, there is no living business around, and it is a bit far from the county seat and Liujiaxia Reservoir. The parking space is not very clear."
