"This year I chose to come to Yancheng for the Chinese New Year and stayed at the InterContinental Yancheng Gangfu Hotel. Every staff member in the hotel lobby was warm and courteous, making us feel at home. The beautiful lobby restaurant and rich breakfast add to the flavor of the New Year. This time I want to thank the staff of the InterContinental Hotel Hong Kong from the bottom of my heart. On the way back from the hotel, I suddenly discovered that my leather suit was missing. "The hotel has a rich breakfast. The twin room is very friendly to families with children. The bed is big enough and suitable for parent-child travel.
The hotel has ample parking space and free parking for in-house guests.
The soundproofing of the room is relatively poor, and the sound of people talking and closing the door can be heard clearly, but the overall effect is not too big.
When we checked in, we checked with the front desk to see if breakfast for children under 13 years old was free. The front desk noticed that our child was tall and asked us to pay for the adult breakfast. We explained that Ctrip said that children under 17 years old (inclusive) were free. The front desk seemed a little unaware of this policy, but They will be solved in time later, overall it is good.
It's quite novel to have a robot deliver your takeout to your room. It's quite close to Water Street, so you can go shopping at night."

Other than that I would hightly recommend the hotel. It was comfortable and accommodating."

The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The entire property was impeccably clean, making my stay even more enjoyable.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile by offering assistance proactively—whether guiding me or simply checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest.
I was also deeply impressed by their honesty and efficiency. When I realized I had left an item behind, I called the hotel, and 小徐 (Xiao Xu) at the front desk confirmed within seconds that it had been safely kept. She even arranged for it to be delivered to me the very next day—such outstanding service!
Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will definitely choose Mercure hotels again in the future. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so delightful!

GG91We stayed at the hotel as a family. The check-in process was easy and
quick. Being able to check in at 9 a.m. was also great. The staff members were helpful and friendly. The room was nice and spacious.
The view is absolutely beautiful, and the area where the hotel is situated was very quiet and relaxing over the May holidays. Breakfast was lovely; there were Chinese and western food options.
Just a suggestion: with the floors of the room being dusty, it would be great if the hotel had basic cleaning equipment, especially for longer stays (I do not feel comfortable contacting the staff to clean the room, especially with the language barrier, so it would just be easy to do it myself quickly).
It would also be great if a microwave, plates, cutlery, and serving utensils could be included in rooms, especially for longer stays and for parents with children. Having rooms with a play area would also be awesome, and I would definitely pay more if the above were included.
There is also room service available from the cafe on the first floor, where drinks and sandwiches can be delivered to your room, or you can enjoy it downstairs with a great book from the library.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a great location, with RT-Mart and pedestrian streets nearby. You can walk to Red Lantern in the morning to eat fish soup noodles and big meat buns. The hotel service is very good and responsive. The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are spacious, the toilet flushes automatically, the shower has a strong flow, the bed is very comfortable, especially the pillows are the most satisfactory among all the hotels I have stayed in. The hotel has an underground parking lot with convenient access. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is not very good, which should be a common problem in major hotels. I will stay at Atour again next time.

The hotel staff have very good attitudes and the breakfast is very rich. The hotel is close to the North Golden Eagle Commercial Pedestrian Street. I won’t go there next time. The second choice, Jinfan Wanyuan Hotel, feels the warmth like home👍👍👍!

TTime Traveller123This wasn’t my first time staying in Mingcheng Jinjiang hotel but I must say this time they reminded me how great they are.. I contacted them in advance asking them if they will provide temporary residence registration form. They were super professional especially Sandy Li, who made sure the form was ready. Check-in was smooth and quick, car parking was super convenient. Hotel room was clean and spacious. I asked for a bottle of water, they sent 3 bottles. They were amazing throughout my stay there. It’s a pity I missed breakfast both days as I woke up late hahaha.. but overall an amazing experience.. will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yancheng.

The service was acceptable. One point was deducted because when we checked in, the front desk clerk did not tell us exactly where the elevator was for guest room check-in. As a result, I led two elderly people in their 80s with large and small bags. Xingli walked around in the lobby on the first floor. Moreover, in such a big hotel, there is no staff to deliver luggage in line, which is very inconvenient. Also, the breakfast in the hotel is not worth the 98 yuan at all. The milk is made from milk powder, and snacks such as small cakes are made from cheap plant-based cream. I probably won’t choose breakfast here again next time.

The first time I lay on the quilt with a faint fragrance on the bed, I could think of this as the bedding that the boss personally cleaned, because it smelled the smell of washing powder, and the general cleaning factory was reluctant to use a good detergent! This is also the only thing I can determine that it is indeed a change for one guest, and there is no taste for a long time! Next time you come here to stay directly, you don't have to choose! 房間更是讓人驚喜，不僅乾淨明亮，床品軟到像陷進雲朵裏，晨起時陽光透過窗户灑進來，整個房間都暖洋洋的。更貼心的是細節之處：茶包、一次性拖鞋等用品一應俱全，無線網信號穩定，還有一份新鮮的歡迎水果，瞬間讓人感受到滿滿的誠意，衞生間的乾濕分離設計也十分貼心，使用起來方便又清爽。
餐飲體驗必須重點誇讚，早餐裏的魚湯麪和雞蛋餅組合堪稱“神仙搭配”，鮮美的魚湯麪暖胃暖心，香軟的雞蛋餅帶着焦香，每次都能吃得滿足。
前台小樑的服務更是温暖又周到，她不僅耐心地為我們制定了專屬遊玩計劃，還主動詢問我們是否自駕，細心地幫我們登記了車牌，省去了不少麻煩。
閑暇時光也過得格外愜意，想活動一下就去健身房舒展筋骨；想慢下來，就和家人沿着園區的跑道散步，一邊欣賞沿途的風景，一邊隨手拍幾張美照，簡單又幸福。
這趟入住大縱湖開元度假酒店的經歷，真的完全不虧，我已經把它推薦給了身邊的朋友，下次再去大縱湖，一定還會選擇這裏

1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected.
The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds!
I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights.
The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer.
Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.
