"I booked a tea garden room specifically because the garden is right outside, perfect for taking photos if the weather is cool. The booking also includes bicycles and town entrance tickets, but it was too hot to use them. The hotel service is excellent; there's no need to worry about getting a taxi. They offer a shuttle service to the station; just make sure to book a day in advance. Last night, I encountered a large mosquito net, and even though it was late, the front desk lady came to bring me mosquito coils. The duty manager was also amazing. A must-try for anyone visiting Longyou."

"Staff didn’t know correct details about foreigner visas. This can be easily remedied. No toothbrush or toothpaste in room but apart from that the room was great. The breakfast was good but not really half western which makes sense as I don’t think many westerners go there. The main problem was the noise on a night. There were semi-professional boxer teenagers practising their fighting right outside my room at 11pm. I had to go down to reception to tell the person there as they have zero English skills over the telephone. He didn’t seem that bothered. Not same five star as Shanghai but it makes sense as it’s the countryside. I enjoyed staying there but definitely need to make some improvements."

"We drove here, and there was a parking lot at the door. It was very close and convenient to the B&B. Butler Wang was very friendly and took us to the room personally. Our needs were also responded to promptly. There is a large swimming pool in the B&B, and the water was changed on the day we checked in. The children had a lot of fun. There was no sound all night (I learned the next day that it was an elderly guest who was not sensitive to sound and it was unintentional. Thank you for his or her understanding). The next day, when we were about to leave the hotel after having dinner there, a gentleman manager prepared two whole pieces of homemade steamed cakes for us, to apologize and compensate for the TV noise issue last night. It was really flattering and this is the third thumbs up. We are very touched by the hotel's timely response to guests' needs and its sincere attitude of not being perfunctory or shirking responsibilities. The hotel is strategically located, but in the Great South Gate Pedestrian Street, you need to take a short walk to the hotel after getting off the bus. Easy to travel, 1 km walk to the museum and the residential garden. Because of the hot weather, I went shopping in the south gate for a long time, and I went back to the hotel to lie down when I was tired. The only downside is that breakfast is a bit simple."
