"Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯"

"The boss is very good. When we went up the mountain, we drove us to the parking lot and sent us to the parking lot when we went down. The luggage helped us mention the hotel. It rained that day, there were not many tourists, the boss helped us upgrade to a family room, the room had a balcony. The scenery outside the window is very good. On the left is the Kowloon Five Tiger Terraces, and on the right is the Seven Stars Banyue Observation Deck. It takes 10 minutes to get on both sides, which is very convenient. There is a billiard table in the hotel and children's toys. Adults and children have a great time. We also ate dinner and lunch in the store. Two large and two small meals were more than 100 yuan. The boss also invited us to drink his home-made rice wine, which was very sweet. Longji terraces are beautiful and the environment is very comfortable. Traveling these days in Yangshuo, Guilin, there are too many people there, crowded everywhere. The last day of the experience in Longji is the best, there are not many people, very quiet. "First of all, five-star praise! Let's talk about the feeling: when it arrived, it should be more than ten o'clock in the evening, and the parking lot is not allowed to enter. There is also a mountain road more than one kilometer. With two children, the scenic spot was not allowed to drive to the location of the hotel, which was a bit unacceptable! Behind the hotel, Abe came down to pick us up with his back and walked all the way. I felt that the elderly were not easy. After arriving, the proprietress took the initiative to give us noodles. I felt that the boss’s family was very simple. The next accommodation and experience were also very good. Very good family! Five-star praise!"

"The hotel is located on the top of Longji Ancient Zhuangzhai Mountain. It is very beautiful to watch the sunrise or the sea of clouds, and standing on the balcony to pull a telephoto, you can take pictures of the terraced fields everywhere. Although there are many B&Bs on the mountain, not many of them are of good quality. I personally feel that this is the only one. The chef at the hotel tastes good dishes, especially the bamboo tube chicken and spring water chicken. I also want to give a thumbs up to the aunt in the hotel. Because of the high location of the hotel, we still need to walk a ladder to reach the mountain. The aunt of the hotel helped us carry our luggage up and down the mountain. I was really moved and thanked. It is recommended that those planning to stay in this hotel should not bring too much luggage. Finally, it is a pity that I did not see the sunrise this time, but I shot a scene where the mountains and clouds are moving, which is also very beautiful. You can watch and share videos and photos."

"The decoration of Yixi Yisu Hotel is very thoughtful and has a sense of design. The hotel is full of artistic style ~ the proprietress is enthusiastic and provides considerate service. As soon as I entered the door, I changed my shoes. It was clean and spotless. The bed in the room was of good quality and comfortable. The room had good light transmittance and there were terraces outside the window. I ordered a cup of coffee on the first floor with my friends...enjoy! Very satisfied!"

"The inn is very close to the Seven Stars with the Moon Observation Deck, less than 10 minutes' walk. The family room is large and has a loft, which is perfect for our family. The facilities inside are very good. It can be seen that the owner is very attentive to the decoration and maintenance. "The hotel boasts an excellent location, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the magnificent terraced fields right from the window. It's a convenient 10-minute walk to Viewpoint #1 and 30 minutes to Viewpoint #2. Although the linear distance appears short, navigating the mountain paths does take a bit of time. After seeing these two viewpoints, I felt there was no need to visit Viewpoint #3 (Golden Buddha Peak), which also saved me 100 RMB on the cable car fare. The owner is incredibly capable and helpful; they provided shuttle service up and down the mountain, assisted with luggage, and could even help arrange bus tickets to Guilin. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, which is completely understandable given the challenges of transporting supplies up the mountain."

GGuest UserThe B&B is located on the top of the mountain, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for close viewing of the terraced fields. The distance to the two viewing platforms is very close. The room pictures on the platform are real, with a simple style, integrated with the surrounding natural environment, and more beautiful when you are there. The boss is a local, a kind and simple ethnic minority, and he cooks delicious food. When you chat with him, he will tell you about the local folk customs and tell you where it is more worth visiting. It is a very good accommodation experience.

GGuest UserA family ran hotel with brand new amenities and really great views of the Jinkeng village rice terraces if you book the rooms with views. We only stayed for one night but we really appreciated the warm hospitality from the host family. The food, breakfast and dinner, were both quite good.
Logistically, you have to contact the hotel to pick you up from the entrance of the Jinkeng village (bottom of the cable car) then it’s only a short 5-7 mins drive from there. We called the hotel thru our driver and everything worked out smoothly.
Another highlight is that from this hotel, you can trek for about 40 mins thru the village and rice terrace to get to the highest viewing platform of the Jinkeng village. It was a bit of a workout but the views along the way was really worth it. The owner will send u a detailed guide of how to get there so you won’t get lost.
Overall I would highly recommend for the views and the opportunity to trek a little deeper into the village and terraces and enjoy the tranquility there.

This is an incredible place! The hotel is perfectly situated with the best views. The rooms are new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious! You can just relax there and soak in the magnificent views.
There's a nearby viewing platform perfect for capturing stunning photos. And a beautiful swimming pool offering panoramic terrace views! Everything here is simply perfect! I highly recommend staying here!

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

The scenery is breathtaking, and every single detail shows how much care has been put in. The B&B owner and the ladies working there are incredibly genuine and hospitable. The food prepared by one of the ladies was beyond delicious – absolutely mouth-watering! And we even got to enjoy some authentic homemade glutinous rice wine.

They proactively helped us with our luggage and even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off services to and from the parking lot. Waking up, we could enjoy the breathtaking 'Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon' scenery directly from our balcony. Dining in the restaurant was also a delightful experience, boasting equally spectacular views. And the breakfast? It was incredibly generous and delicious – truly fantastic!

HHappy SLAbsolutely want to thank everyone on this hotel for the stay! Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and attentive, the room was so special - it was a highlight of my trip.
I had mistaken my transfer to the hotel and the communication was quick to help and solve the issues, speaking with the driver I had (as I’m not that proficient in Chinese). I had a lovely introduction to this family run hotel and the area with the driver who was an Uncle.
At lunch, I was so full and the staff suggested to keep it for dinner which was so considerate. I definitely didn’t want any food wastage - the chicken bamboo was then turned into a soup which was delicious after taking on the rice terraces. The staff were attentive and helpful with question and tips. As I was semi-organised they really helped me feel reassured with my itinerary.
The room was gorgeous, and smelled beautiful from the natural wood. It was coming back to a sauna every time, so relaxing. The decorations in the room were so special.
The rice terraces are 10min away and both Nine Dragon Five Tigers and Seven Stars & Moon is easily accessible.
I’m so happy and grateful for this stay. You won’t regret it.

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

GGuest UserA cost-effective B&B. First, the location is good, not far from the two observation decks, and you can see the terrace lights from the B&B. Second, the B&B has good supporting facilities. Their car provides direct service from Guilin hotels to the B&B. The price is reasonable, comfortable and convenient. The location of the B&B is high, but they use pulleys to transport luggage, so it's easy and enjoyable without having to carry it. Third, the service attitude is good and the boss lady’s cooking is delicious.

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
