This is an incredible place! The hotel is perfectly situated with the best views. The rooms are new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious! You can just relax there and soak in the magnificent views.
There's a nearby viewing platform perfect for capturing stunning photos. And a beautiful swimming pool offering panoramic terrace views! Everything here is simply perfect! I highly recommend staying here!

"Pros:
The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful views of the terraced fields right from our balcony. The owner was incredibly hospitable and even helped us with our luggage.
Cons:
However, there were a few issues. The balcony door lacked a lock, which made us feel quite uneasy and unable to sleep soundly. Hand soap was not provided, and some power outlets were faulty, causing plugs to fit loosely. Additionally, the frosted glass wall separating the bathroom/shower was quite transparent, making it easy to see through – definitely not ideal for families."

"The view is stunning, but the location is difficult to get to (it is not clear on the maps). I would not bring a heavy suitcase because you will encounter stairs and pathways (it is not directly accessible by car so you will have to carry your belongings. It was very clean and the rooms were large. The A/C worked and it was sound insulated. The food was delicious. The service was great, but they didn't know I spoke mandarin and one of the boys working was complaining about our luggage right in front of us. A children's TV show was being played in the lobby so loudly it could be heard from inside the room on the fourth floor. If you are an early sleeper, do not stay here because you can hear music from the town until about 10pm. I would not spend as much time as I did here again."

"Our stay here was really great. The room was spacious, clean, and bright with a view of the rice terraces right in front. The large balcony was an added plus. The location is walking distance to multiple viewpoints in the rice fields. The owners are incredibly friendly and helped us book a shuttle bus from Guilin to Dazhai, picked us up from the bus stop, and dropped us off there again at the end of the trip. Breakfast was included and very good, Chinese style noodle soup, eggs, corn, and steamed buns. You can wash your laundry at the hotel too which was convenient. Only thing was the pool seemed a bit dirty, so we ended up not using it. I would definitely stay there again."

"The location of the hotel can see the terraced landscape, the room is clean and tidy, and there are basically everything that should be there. Go to the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot, call at nine o'clock to pick up, Xiao Pan helps with luggage all the way. Dinner and breakfast were solved at the hotel. The pure natural original ecology, the cabbage was picked from the ground, the taste was very good, and a pot of rice wine was also very good. Breakfast rice noodles with fried eggs are simple and delicious. If you drive, you can park in the hotel parking lot."

"This place was outstanding in all dimensions. The owners clearly love the place, the entire experience was amazing. The service was fantastic, they offered to drive us and pick us up from the scenic viewpoints throughout our stay. They helped coordinate pick up and drop off from the train stations (for a fair fee) as it is a bit hard to get there without your own car. They also served us their rice wine at dinner, and provided bottles to take home when we checked out. They were always checking in on how our stay was, very proactive communication. We stayed in the panorama room and the view from their hotel is incredible. Very clean, all amenities we needed provided. I would 1000% recommend this place if you can make it out here."

The complimentary private round-trip transfer service from the hotel to Dazhai car park was excellent. They also provided great assistance with booking tickets, offering convenient pick-up and drop-off right at the entrance of Jinkeng Dazhai.

"The reviews were absolutely spot on: the owner has impeccable taste, is incredibly kind, and truly goes out of their way to accommodate any request. I highly recommend the Sunrise Loft room. The hotel is perfectly situated between Viewing Platforms #1 and #2, giving it an absolutely unbeatable, prime location. Even though there were only two of us, we booked the 4-person loft room, and it was fantastic to lie in bed and watch the rice terraces. Unfortunately, a typhoon brought rain, so we missed the sunrise. However, we were treated to a vast and ethereal sea of clouds. Despite this minor regret, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. The owner's homemade rice wine is absolutely delicious – cold, sweet, and refreshing. Enjoying it with tasty dishes like bamboo chicken was truly one of life's great pleasures. When we arrived, the owner kindly picked us up from the parking lot. On our departure, we were rushing to Yangshuo, and the owner recommended a driver who was not only charming but also incredibly skilled, navigating the winding mountain roads with impressive ease. Later, when we hired a car in Yangshuo, the local driver, upon hearing the price we paid for our transfer from the hotel, immediately exclaimed it was an incredibly fair deal. "The guesthouse is ideally located, just a stone's throw from the Jinfoding Observation Deck. It's newly decorated and spotlessly clean. The view from the scenic rooms is absolutely breathtaking, and at night, you can even see the Milky Way! Gazing at the sky full of stars directly overhead was incredibly therapeutic and a delightful surprise. The owner provides fantastic service, offering complimentary round-trip transfers to Jinfoding, which saves you the cable car fee. During the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room for free, making the experience truly exceptional. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious dishes made from ingredients grown and raised by the owner themselves – their own vegetables, chickens, and ducks. Highly recommended!"

If you have travelled in China at this price point, you will know that hotels can be sorted largely into two categories: “I can’t believe that this awful place is this expensive,” and “I can’t believe that this nice of a hotel is this cheap.” This hotel fits squarely in the latter: it is exceedingly clean; the staff are very friendly; the food is good (you can have lunch or dinner here in addition to the complementary breakfast); and it is well located relative to the central village and various lookout points (it also has a nice view itself, either from its balconies, or eastwards along a small stone path through the terraces). If you are looking for a great place to stay while relaxing in Longji, look no further!"

GGuest UserThe B&B is located on the top of the mountain, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for close viewing of the terraced fields. The distance to the two viewing platforms is very close. The room pictures on the platform are real, with a simple style, integrated with the surrounding natural environment, and more beautiful when you are there. The boss is a local, a kind and simple ethnic minority, and he cooks delicious food. When you chat with him, he will tell you about the local folk customs and tell you where it is more worth visiting. It is a very good accommodation experience.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

CCarlyMama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.
We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!
They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月!

They proactively helped us with our luggage and even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off services to and from the parking lot. Waking up, we could enjoy the breathtaking 'Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon' scenery directly from our balcony. Dining in the restaurant was also a delightful experience, boasting equally spectacular views. And the breakfast? It was incredibly generous and delicious – truly fantastic!

HHappy SLAbsolutely want to thank everyone on this hotel for the stay! Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and attentive, the room was so special - it was a highlight of my trip.
I had mistaken my transfer to the hotel and the communication was quick to help and solve the issues, speaking with the driver I had (as I’m not that proficient in Chinese). I had a lovely introduction to this family run hotel and the area with the driver who was an Uncle.
At lunch, I was so full and the staff suggested to keep it for dinner which was so considerate. I definitely didn’t want any food wastage - the chicken bamboo was then turned into a soup which was delicious after taking on the rice terraces. The staff were attentive and helpful with question and tips. As I was semi-organised they really helped me feel reassured with my itinerary.
The room was gorgeous, and smelled beautiful from the natural wood. It was coming back to a sauna every time, so relaxing. The decorations in the room were so special.
The rice terraces are 10min away and both Nine Dragon Five Tigers and Seven Stars & Moon is easily accessible.
I’m so happy and grateful for this stay. You won’t regret it.

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
