After entering the room wearing a down jacket and turning on the air conditioner for three hours, the temperature was 14 degrees. "What an incredible stay! I booked it as it looked lovely in the pictures (and it does look lovely in real life) - but what I missed was the scale and size of the place. It's connected to the Jinyuan Zhangfei International Hotel - the grounds are stunning, with beautiful pools of carp and goldfish, all connected by corridors, with views of curated beautiful foliage. The lobby of the main hotel is stunning also with vistas out to the river. There are lots of other facilities - such as a comfortable lounge bar, even a grocery store (!), a gym/pool (we only had so much time to explore, as it was so huge!). Our room turned out to be a type of suite with our own entrance hallway, pools, reception rooms. There was at least one other room, but we didn't see any guests there, so it felt like it all belonged to us! The room itself was spacious, quiet and really comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and pretty extensive. We arrived just before closing - and it wasn't that busy. Not sure about earlier! Staff were lovely and helpful. Would DEFINITELY go back! (The hotel is located right beside the old town, with easy access to the old town of Langzhong. Great to walk around there at night when it gets less busy)."

"The parent-child room has a loft upstairs with two large beds on the upper and lower floors, two bathrooms, no cabinets or TVs, and no one uses it! The room is clean and well designed. Some of the other rooms have small courtyards separated by fences, and the owner has carefully arranged green plants, tables and chairs. The hotel is big with many places to hang out. The crabapples are in full bloom. It is so comfortable to look at the flowers through the long glass windows in the lobby and drink tea! The heaviness and texture of wood are fully reflected here! The breakfast was also very satisfying, with a careful mix of Chinese and Western tableware. The service brothers and sisters are very friendly and know their place just right.
