I recently had the pleasure of staying at this airport hotel, and I am thrilled to share my experience. The staff were absolutely outstanding—cordial, helpful, and always ready to assist. The service made my stay truly enjoyable. The room itself was stylish and modern, featuring all the amenities one could need. It was clearly newly renovated, with a fresh and inviting atmosphere that made me feel comfortable right away. Location is also a huge plus! The hotel is conveniently situated just a short distance from the airport, making it incredibly easy to access. This is perfect for travelers looking for a hassle-free stay before or after a flight. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable rates for such quality accommodation. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area—excellent service, stylish rooms, and great value make it a fantastic choice!

1. The room was EXTREMELY HOT. Even with the setting at 16°C, there was no control of the temperature. There was only heated air coming in. I had to climb up very high to partially open a very tight ventilator, but it didn't help much. I had to sleep naked due to the heat. 2. The plastic covering of the amenities (toothbrush, comb, ear buds, etc) is very difficult to open. I actually struggled to open them. I am a fit, 59 year-old with no disabilities. 3. The first night, there was no shaving kit and body lotion in the room. However, upon request, it was provided. 4. The spa is overpriced.

This is second time I have stayed at this hotel. Ideal for business travellers with late arrival or early departure flights. Working distance and with direct access from hotel to/from airport.

I was thoroughly impressed by the front desk Anna staff’s exceptional service. They were attentive, proactive, and resolved a minor issue I had with utmost professionalism. Their genuine care for guests shines through, making this hotel stand out. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

The location is wonderful, which is why I chose it (and have also stayed here other times when I needed to fly out of Qingdao). The room is a pleasant size and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s quick and easy to check in and check out. No need to go outside, there’s a walkway directly into the airport. There was a lot of hair on the seat of the chair (different color than my hair so I’m certain it was not from me) so that made me uncomfortable/concerned about how much had been cleaned. There was about a half inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so a lot of light came in from the hall so during the night I needed to put a towel there to block the light. I could easily hear people go to nearby rooms and room service going to nearby rooms, so it was a little noisy.

It was a great if your traveling by yourself and on a budget. It is located near the airport and the subway line to different places in the city that is couple of minutes away. Pick up service was a bit confusing but you need to speak alittle Chinese to get a hold of the hotel concierge. Breakfast buffet was like any Chinese breakfast buffet nothing really special. There is a little workout room and laundry room (no laundry soap though) so that was good. All and all it is a good and affordable price for a hotel if you are on a budget.

This is a new basic hotel that is near to the airport. The shuttle bus to and from airport is most helpful otherwise it is situated in a quiet area with some eateries nearby. Room is very basic with no cupboard and being new it is fairly clean but lacking support as no front desk nor telephone in the room. So if you are short of any stuff in the room you have a take a lift back down and get assistance, this I felt can be improved.

Amenities: The hotel offers excellent amenities, including car charging facilities, which are great for eco-conscious travelers. Public parking on-site is an added convenience for those driving in. Dining & Services: The on-site restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes, and the 24-hour front desk service, along with luggage storage and wake-up calls, ensured I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Relaxation: A special mention goes to the spa located on the 3rd floor. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day, offering a range of treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated. Overall, the Joying Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent amenities and services, making it a top choice for anyone visiting Qingdao, especially those looking for quick access to JiaoDong Airport.

Just little advice about the free shuttle service which should be more obvious showing the hotel name on the cab and clear instruction in regarding the exact place and time for the pick up at the airport. Other things like fast check in and polite staff is appreciated.

Free pick up and free drop up was super helpful. But they don’t speak any Chinese so use Iphone translation always. (Google, facebook, insta, youtube erc don’t work in China) The room was okay for 1400yen. The walls of the room are too thin tho. I can hear everything from other rooms. The shower didn’t drain the water I had to use the towels they provided. And the water smells little stinky maybe it’s the area thing. They have vending machines in 1st floor I suggest downloading and connecting your card to wechat to make any payment in China.
