"This is my second stay at this hotel; the first was for a business trip, and this time it's a family vacation.
First and foremost, the location is incredibly convenient. Whether you're on an overnight layover for a connecting flight or high-speed train, it's a perfect choice for a one-night rest. It's also ideal if you have a long wait before your flight and prefer to relax in a day-use room rather than the waiting area. This is because it's closest to Terminal 1 and offers a shuttle service to Terminal 2. Getting to Meilan Station (for suburban or island loop lines) is also very convenient.
The hotel rooms are new, clean, and well-equipped.
On the first floor, there's A'Vo's local cuisine restaurant. The food was delicious, with a good variety of dishes and reasonable prices. We even received a discount on our meal this time for being hotel guests, which was a nice bonus.
The staff were also fantastic. Specifically, when we exited the elevator and were looking for our rooms, Zhang Liqin guided us to both, inquired about our needs, and was incredibly thoughtful and genuinely sincere.
I regret not taking pictures of the room or our meals, so I've just included a few other photos from the same period."

"Had an overnight layover at Haikou returning to Sydney. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful, the room was clean and the price for the night was very reasonable, highly recommend.
With airport transfer it would be best to let staff know when your flight is and book the shuttle bus in advance as they only come around every hour.

"A few years ago, I visited Haikou with friends. My friend booked this hotel for our two-night stay before we headed to Sanya, and I distinctly remember having a wonderfully positive experience. That's why this year, when planning a family trip, I confidently chose The Langham Haikou again. My family was also incredibly satisfied with the hotel choice for this trip; both the front desk staff and the restaurant service received high praise from them. We were especially delighted with our room. It offered a breathtaking panoramic view, allowing us to lie in bed and soak in the beautiful sights of Century Bridge, the expansive ocean, and Wanlu Park. The beauty and comfort were truly indescribable. What's more, the price was quite reasonable. Haha, we're extremely satisfied! I highly recommend everyone to visit and experience it for yourselves."

"The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and comfortable, refreshingly free of the damp, musty smell often found in traditional business hotels in Hainan – a definite plus!
What's more, I booked a hotel apartment room this time, and both its spaciousness and the comprehensive amenities provided were a pleasant surprise.
Service: The service truly lived up to Hilton's high standards. The staff were attentive, thorough, and incredibly thoughtful.
Finally, for the areas that could be improved: Given that the hotel was built in 2016, I think the entertainment facilities, among other things, are due for an upgrade. Specifically, the in-room audio-visual equipment didn't support screen mirroring, preventing me from watching my preferred content. It also felt outdated and had some screen distortion. Additionally, the hairdryer wasn't very powerful.
Regarding the breakfast buffet, I personally felt that its variety and taste didn't quite measure up to what I've experienced at similarly-rated Hilton hotels inland. I hope the hotel can make improvements in this area to further enhance the guest experience."

"A perfect score is a must! First, I must commend the front desk service; they were patient and attentive, and even upgraded our room for free. The room was impeccably clean; there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor even when barefoot. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, very neck-friendly, and I slept exceptionally comfortably. The shower had great water pressure, and the hot water came on quickly, washing away all our fatigue. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The bread and Hainanese noodles were particularly tasty, and the hotel was open until 10 am, which was still quite convenient. The fruit was fresh and sweet. Our flight was in the afternoon, and the hotel's latest airport shuttle service was at 2:50 pm. We asked the front desk at 4 pm if they still offered the shuttle, and they said they had a car available to take us directly to the airport. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I have a layover in Haikou! Highly recommended!"

QquanzzI booked three rooms and stayed at Mission Hills Resort for five nights, where we were served by the duty manager, Mary, throughout our stay.
We were given a complimentary room upgrade, and Mary also helped ensure that our group was located near each other, making it much more convenient for us. I’m especially for her effort in helping us locate a farm around the resort and for reaching out proactively before the trip. She even shared her contacts and responded to some of my queries after office hours, which truly shows her dedication to her work.
Although some parts of the resort are a bit dated and seemed to be undergoing maintenance, it didn’t really affect the overall experience. For the rooms It would be even better if a drawdown curtain or privacy screen could be added to the bathing area or toilet, making it more convenient for larger groups like mine.
This resort is ideal for families with young kids or anyone looking for a great parent–child bonding (亲子游) experience. There’s a mini pet house with cute and lively animals where children can get up close and cozy with them.
The Children’s Club — Squirrel Village offers a wide variety of daily activities for parent–child bonding. My kids especially enjoyed the activities led by the young and energetic team of hosts (可爱, 葡萄, 糖果, 西瓜, 猩猩, 鳄鱼, and others). They loved it so much that I gave up some of our original itinerary just to let them stay longer, and they’re still humming and reminiscing about the songs and moments from the club. If I travel to Haikou again, I would certainly return to Mission Hills and include a few more days at the Squirrel Club to spend quality time with my child.
As mentioned in other reviews, we were also served a delicious pot of dessert every night — a thoughtful and warm gesture that added an extra special touch to our stay.
Thank you, Mission Hills Resort, and especially Mary and her Squirrel team, for making our trip so memorable despite the aging facilities. The kids in our group truly had a wonderful and enjoyable time at the resort, and we’ll cherish these moments for a long time.
If i am ever travelling back to Hai Kou for 亲子游, I would stay in Mission Hills purely for the Squirrel Children’s Club activities.
Ps, the resort actually had some additional in-room items that could be loaned and i feel that it would be better if they could share ongoing promotions.

GGuest UserI decided to extend my stay, because everything at this hotel is amazing! The staff, the room, the facilities, breakfast... I absolutely LOVED the hot springs, fish spa and pool! Great views from the balcony. I would also recommend the Japanese restaurant on site - I tried several kinds of sushi and compliments to the sushi master! The Western restaurant was just okay in comparison. The sushi was really great!
I want to praise duty manager Helsey Huang who went above and beyond in helping guests (thank you again for everything!) as well as Daisy Xie who was in charge of the amazing breakfast. If I hadn't been so jetlagged, I would have wanted to eat all morning. I wish I had taken a photo of the many delicious choices!
I can also vouch for the massage by Ellen 韦雪兰. I went to her twice - I felt so much better afterwards. The spa is huge with several private rooms with bathrooms and showers. Very delicious tea as well. It just made for a very relaxing atmosphere.
A huge plus was also the fish spa and hot springs/pool. It was very relaxing to just soak in the water for a bit, overlooking the river. The whole garden outside is really nice, with hammocks and swings.
I also want to thank Benny Lu who helped me during checkout - I really appreciate his kindness. If I hadn't made plans to go to Sanya, I would have stayed even longer.
Also, as a side note: the entire hotel smells amazing! I hope I get to stay there again sometime. I would definitely stay again!

GGuest UserThe hotel lobby was instantly recognizable as a modern, Southeast Asian style, completely transforming my impression of traditional Hainan hotels. The perfectly scented aroma completely dispelled travel fatigue. The room was warmly decorated and clean, and the pillows were especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for someone prone to insomnia. The restaurant on the fourth floor served Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, and I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese-style salted lemon tea, which was tart and sweet with a hint of salt. My stay at the Mu Nan Hotel has made me want to visit Hainan again. It's a shame I forgot to take photos, but I'll make up for it next time.

First and foremost, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Situated close to various amenities, I found myself just a short walk away from restaurants, shops, and local attractions. GGuest UserWhenever I visit Haikou, this is pretty much my go-to hotel, and it's truly fantastic. It's a villa-style property, with each unit boasting its own private courtyard. These courtyards are equipped with swings and rocking horses, perfect for kids to play on, and there are also lovely areas for a leisurely stroll. The surroundings are very peaceful, and crucially, it's conveniently located close to both the high-speed rail station and Wuyue Plaza.
The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning cools down super fast. They even have a projector with a large screen, making movie nights incredibly enjoyable. What's more, they include a streaming membership, so you have access to a vast selection of films – it really adds to the comfort and relaxation.
The hotel has its own private parking lot behind the building. This means you never have to stress about finding a parking spot, even if you return late at night – a definite bonus!

MM7517****I was so lucky to stay in this B&B on this trip! The sea is just outside the B&B, the beach is soft and fine, and the sea water is crystal clear. Every shot is a blockbuster. The room is carefully decorated, warm and exquisite, and the hygiene is spotless, which makes it very comfortable to live in. There is also a free swimming pool downstairs, where you can swim freely at any time. The boss and his family are very enthusiastic and answer all questions. I feel safe and happy living here, and the cost-effectiveness is super high. I strongly recommend it to everyone! I will stay here again next time!

GGuest UserEverything else is good, but the room facilities are too simple! It's ok that there is no refrigerator or cooker. There is not even a washing machine. What's more embarrassing is that there is no place to hang the clothes after washing!
Double hot spring: It's real, but I didn't have time to experience it, which is a pity!

GGuest UserBecause we had to take the ferry, we found a place to stay near the ferry. When we booked it, we had the mentality of giving it a try. After we checked in, it was beyond our expectations. The sanitation was very clean, which was cleaner than the B&Bs we stayed in before. It was a loft design. I also liked this kind of small apartment. There was a cloakroom and everything you need. The most important thing is that it is truly pet-friendly! There is no charge. It is much better than some stores that say they are pet-friendly but are unwilling to accept dogs when you call to ask. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Hainan.
